I personally think Kanye West is better then Jay Z.

In my opinion, Kanye West has the better verse on every song they have both been on.

I love Pac, but they haven't destroyed rap.

Their styles have changed, but if you listen to both of them in their prime, like Reasonable Doubt for Jay and Graduation and previous albums for Kanye, you will see that they aren't " shitty ". :sy:

if this was like 5 years ago i would say jigga but the music industry is a "what have you done for me lately" kind of biz so my vote goes to ye overall. not only does he have some of my favorite lines of all time be he makes AMAZING instrumentals.

jay z proves that once a rapper loses that "hunger" they are no longer great. he's become very stale since the hip hop community as a whole crowned him the best. doesn't mean blue print 2 isn't one of my favorite albums of all time. just sayin....

sorry if this is ends up a double post but people saying 2pac need to get with the f*ckin times! hip hop is an ever evolving creature and for those to say he is still the greatest is either A: saying that because that's what they're "supposed" to say or B: don't really listen to rap anymore/have never really listened to rap but just know most people wont have the balls to argue with that statement! :scorps:

why???? i used to consider myself a rapper. why would i not love someone who produces great beats? i also relate to kanye a lot on a personal level. we were both raised without a father so we picked up a lot of feminine traits. we both have uncontrolled fits of diva moments. neither of us are afraid to say those taboo things that most people wont. and above all else we both feel like it's still b*tches that owe us *** :|
