I think Kankuro can take this high difficulty but I disagree with your method of Kankuro's victory which Temari can counter effortlessly.

Temari wins, Temari's jutsus which have destroyed forest, and cut samurai armor, would either put Kankuro's puppets our of his grasp or, destroy them. She is fairly one dimensional, but she has firepower that I'm not convinced Kankuro could overcome. Additionally, judging by the fact that her and shikamaru appear to be intellectual rivals, I'd give her the edge in the intelligence and strategy department.

Giant? It was puny and has very low feats. Please post manga scans backing up your argument that Sasori's puny flamethrowers can overcome winds that destroys forests in seconds.
