Sasori's pretty much a Kankuro killer, as all of Kankuro's puppets are useless against him.

All of the puppets he has, that we know of at the moment are Sasori creations or modifications from Sasori originals.

Yes, Kankuro is strong but this is like using a fly swat against a fly xD

But in relation to your post, I don't think Kankuro would even get the oppertunity to strike, and even attempt poisoning Sasori.

Other puppets are worthless against the Third Kazekage. That was made abundantly clear during Sasori's fight with Chiyo. To be honest, Kankuro isn't as good as Chiyo either.
