『Basic Information』

Name: Kaname 'Uchiha' Mugen
Nickname: Child of Death, Crow, Black King, Maleficent of the South, Saber of Black, Grey King

Looks:

Kaname is a man of average height and bulk build. He is often seen wearing a cloak with the outside being black and the inside being green. The cloak reaches just before his mouth and is a same length as his legs down to his feet. He had messy silver-grey hair which passed down to about shoulder length, this was before the final war, where Kurogakure one last time had slayed their enemies and stood at the top. Once the war had ended and Kaname was one of those who now lived their life on the run in the ravaged Ninja World, he adjusted his looks by changing a key detail of his appearance, his hair. He cut it down and changed it's color. Now it was just a short messy jet black colored hair.



Personality: Kaname is usually quite a calm and cunning shinobi. Sometimes due to his eagerness in a fight he will let his old Iwagakure days take over and he will become merciless and cold in his battles showing what his past was like in Iwagakure. He sees himself as a proud tactician and likes to plan ahead before doing something but also finds himself being very capable of creating a new tactic to adapt to situations or on the spot changes.

Kaname is someone who doesn't mind taking the life of another person. However...he wasn't always like this. During his time in the village that saved him when he was on the run, Amegakure, he was someone who would at all costs avoid a fight or the act of taking someone's life. But then, it all changed for Kaname. For he had encountered the Black Reaper within the walls of Konohagakure during the Kage Summit. Kaname seeked help from the other villages and even his own village mates, but he was simply abandoned. While it may have seemed cruel to an outsider, to the eyes of Kaname it was like his eyes had been opened and he was free from the shackles of the Great Nations.

Kaname is also a very cheeky individual when it comes to new people or even people he knows well. Perhaps his best demonstration of this is when he meets a woman from Kurogakure known as Jeanne, or better known as Ruler. Kaname takes an extremely cheeky and playful personality when it comes to Ruler, purely because of her immediate disgust for the man.

Description: Resonance is a unique application of Fūinjutsu created for those who possess multiple individualistic personalities; each with its own very unique set of beliefs, memories, emotions, and attributes. In its purest essence this sealing technique brings to life one’s own multiple personalities by enabling a form of organization and structure. A personality is generally defined as the individual characteristics which defines one; their memories, beliefs, ideas, personal skills, mannerisms, and habits. It has been shown throughout the series that various forms of Ninja Arts are capable of controlling, manipulating, transferring, and even changing memories. It has also been shown that chakra, Fūinjutsu, emotion, and memory all play intimately and are connected with one another. The most striking example of this is Minato Namikaze’s use of his chakra to seal his own personality within Naruto when he sealed the Nine Tails; this is at times called a ‘consciousness imprint.’ Karin Uzumaki noted that chakra carries the ability to reflect emotion and personality; she described Naruto’s chakra as warm while Sasuke’s was cold. There also exist techniques such as the Loss of Memory Technique which allows the user to block memory sets with their chakra. Fūinjutsu is also capable of sealing metaphysical phenomena such as chakra, souls, memories, and even emotions. With this in mind it is reasonable to extend the ability to seal entire personalities away into a vessel. Thus, Resonance is a seal which seals the users multiple personalities. It grants structure to chaos within one’s own mind; organization to a torrential storm of personalities, emotions, and beliefs.

Resonance is applied to one’s own personality; as such the seal must be stated in the user’s personality section of their biography. Resonance can seal up to seven individual personalities. These personalities are listed within the user’s biography. Each must have characteristics which are distinct from one another. For example, one personality can have a tendency toward violence and bloodshed while another can be prone to kindness. The user is granted great versatility with the customization of each personality, each being a cosmetic choice. Personalities can be named differently and even possess different perceived genders. This means that while the body’s physiological gender will remain static the personality can operate differently to the body; essentially the personality believes it is the opposite gender to the body. Personalities can also have distinct memories, skills, emotions, motivations, thought patterns, movement patterns, and mannerisms. The possibilities are nearly limitless in regards to defining traits of a separate personality. Personalities can also be structured into hierarchies with one typically dominant over the others; although this is largely a cosmetic feature. The inner workings of the seal itself are simple. The seal treats the user’s own body as the vessel for the sealed personalities. All of the user’s personalities are sealed by Resonance, including the original personality along with a portion of the user’s chakra before the seal is performed. Each personality, now sealed by Resonance, will be able to communicate with each other in an environment granted structure. This environment is much like Minato and Kushina’s communications with Naruto. Each happened within his imagination and mind allowing for numerous forms to be created. The user is able to shape the environment to take the appearance of anything the user so desires and all occurs within his or her mind. While sealed the personalities will be able to communicate with each other and watch each other, much like how Minato’s consciousness imprint was able to watch Naruto’s growth and development throughout his life. In terms of usage the seal possesses two release states. They are as followed:

Partial Release; The first state is a partial release state which is performed passively. Through this method the seal will be partially opened allowing for the fluid transitioning between separate personalities. It offers no true combat benefits and is purely a cosmetic ability which is inherent to the biography that Resonance is used on.

Full Release; The second state is a full release state which is performed at the cost of a move, but instantaneously, exempt or within the same timeframe. This second application is the combat-favored variant allowing for numerous benefits associated with the release of the user’s personalities. This state can be used for as many personalities as the user possesses, up to seven. As previously mentioned each personality is fully sealed with a portion of the user’s chakra, each laced with the personality’s essence of existence. Between all seven potentially sealed personalities a maximum of 400 chakra can be stored in Resonance. This chakra is split between each personality; each personality requiring a minimum of 50 chakra stored. The amount of chakra stored per personality is stated within the user’s biography in the personality section. When fully released the chakra will flow from the vessel of the user’s body back into his or her chakra network along with the personality; this effectively creates a full body surge equivalent to the quantity of chakra released. In addition to this the user will experience a refreshing surge of energy as their body is replenished and a personality is released; this is largely a cosmetic feature but can numb relatively moderate levels of pain and grant clarity to the mind.

Alternate Personalities:

Kaname has been found to be host to multiple personalities. While some are unknown for the moment there are currently three obvious forms of these personalities that Kaname has complete access too.

The Golden King:
This personality places Kaname in the persona of the worlds first King. A man who believes all things in the world belong to him. He follows a simple style of ruling, acquiring worthy treasures and guarding them. He exterminates those that stand in the way of his enjoyment without exception. All living beings are "something that is about to die" or "something that will one day die." If he decides that there is a "being that should die this moment", he will simply execute the sentence no matter if they should be a sage or a god. If it is an astute judgment synonymous to universal truth, or even a misrule during a drunken stupor, anything carried out by him, the absolute king, becomes the indisputable sentence of the king.

He is extremely arrogant and selfish, believing himself to be the sole potentate and only king of the world even many millennia after his death. He cannot acknowledge the authority of anyone, including that of other kings and especially that of the gods. He considers all those around him as inferior due to this fact, viewing all other kings and heroes as a collection of mongrels, and loathes any individual who would try to be on the same level as him.

The Nameless Bowman:
His personality is very contradicting. While he is thoroughly cynical and nihilistic, he is at the same time devoted and protective, and even a little childish to the point that it makes him hard to hate. He doesn't lie, but he does keep secrets and tell half truths. He means well and is capable of being nice, but often ends up being sarcastic, especially so when he gives advice.

Being a hero did not mean saving everyone as he thought. It simply meant saving who he chose to save. It meant acting with the greatest good in mind. If saving a hundred people meant the death of ten, then those ten were a necessary evil needed for the greater good. This truth created a contradiction in his character as he began to despise the actions of his fellow man. He realized that the only way to save people was to kill people. He began to question himself. Did being a hero mean nothing but cleaning up human trash? But could he really refute what he was doing if his actions result in others being saved? And so he continued on his path. Killing those who stood in his way for the sake of good. He became one who could contain All the Evils of the World. He was a hero who could only fight evil with evil. Death with death.

The Eyepatch:
The personality that manifested at the lowest but also clearest moment in Kaname's life, the personality of the Eyepatch. The Eyepatch personality is best defined by the cold demeanor it gives off. The personality is a tortured and bloody one. It has abandoned the ideology of "Instead of other's getting hurt, be the one to get hurt" and pledges to crush those who would threaten it's place of belonging. This personality has adopted a familiar cracking sound Kaname once heard often at a important time in his life, the cracking of fingers. The Eyepatch when threatened, either it be himself or his friends, becomes ruthless and brutal but yet still retains a cool composure. The Eyepatch is still capable of showing a gentle nature infront of people but can instantly turn merciless against his enemies. He craves strength and power, becoming more arrogant as a result. He follows a simple creed that it is the duty of "The strong to devour the weak".

『Background Information』

History: Kaname was born in the Land of Rock in a small village to the west of Iwagakure. His parent's were simple farmers who once used to serve the Tsuchikage as his Anbu, however his Father originated from Konohagakure and was apart of the Uchiha Police Force, while the mother had the power to control steel and was from Iwagakure. But they eventually retired when they found out they were having a child. After Kaname's birth they taught him the basic use of Ninjutsu. One day when he was practicing his Katon and Doton usage Kaname created a strange new element. He showed it to his parents and they discovered he had control over Steel. The family were happy that their son had such an amazing gift. But their happiness wouldn't last forever.

It seemed that one of their neighbors noticed Kaname controlling and using the Steel Release Kekkei Genkai. The villager reported it to the Tsuchikage and he ordered the execution of Kaname and his family. After discovering this the family knew they had to run, but before they could leave Kaname's parents were slain by several Iwagakure ninja. Full of hatred Kaname unleashed his special power against the unknowing ninja who weren't prepared for its power. After slaying the ninja Kaname realised one simple thing. He was indeed alone in this world.

Kaname left the Earth Country in search of salvation and safety, he came across a strange village known as Amegakure and they took him in. Kaname seemed to enjoy the constant rain in the village and honed his Ninja skills there. He quickly rose in the ranks of Amegakure and was appointed as the Captain of Squad Three. Consisting of Scathach, Beifong and Himself. What would the future hold for Kaname, only time could tell.

A New Life:

It hadn’t been very long since Kaname was made a captain in Amegakure, but even as a captain there still wasn’t very much to do. One day Kaname had been napping under a broken house listening to the rain drop. It was quite peaceful until he heard two people talking and discussing over the sound of the rain, one voice he was familiar with, it was the Peace General Xicer but he seemed to of been conversing with a man from the Hidden Mist. Kaname joined into the conversation and heard that he would be travelling to a Kage Summit and so Kaname saw it fit that he would accompany the Peace General.

Time passed and the Kage’s and Officials contravened with one another. Kaname found it quite boring and decided to explore the lands somewhat. He came across a strange individual, a man who went by the name Ken Kaneki. He was accompanied by another man, someone from the Akatsuki (I forgot your bio’s name pengy ;-; ). The man spoke of Kaname being failed in his raising by his parents, by his leaders, oddly enough these words struck Kaname quite hard, hoping some help would come and aid him Kaname saw it fit to remove these two from this land but it seemed that Kaname’s opponent would be Ken Kaneki. The two fought but the battle didn’t last very long. The opponent Kaname was fighting was a strong one, too strong for Kaname at all. Kaname was defeated by this man, he just barely clung to life, devastated that his village member did not come seeking to help him, or send word for more Amegakure members to come, eventually he realised that the words Kaneki spoke seemed to of been true he ran from his opponents nearly dead, before he had set refuge in the blood tavern. (Ik that isn’t how the fight went but yeah z.z).

The King, The Nation, The war:

Time had passed quite quickly. Kaname had turned himself into a bounty hunter of sorts. Until someday he had come across the man who had changed his life all that time ago. Young Mr Ken Kaneki. The two conversed for some time and hit it off in a strange way. The two began to travel to the Hidden Moon to find one of Kaname's old friends Aizen. But when Kaname had arrived he was met with a man who was also from his past. Lancelot. Lancelot had the ideal to create a nation and that he did. He turned the Hidden Moon from that of a tourist resort to that of molten steel and metal. Lancelot had formed a nation known as Kurogakure, and a group within it known as the Dark Council of which Kaname was seated at. Much time passed and discussions had commenced, it was time to go to war with Iwagakure. Kaname wasn't sure how to feel about it, he had no ill intentions towards this nation, but nonetheless the decision was final and they all moved out immediately. Too be continued.

The Village of Darkness descends upon the Earth and Heaven:

With the King have given out his orders, the forces descended upon Iwagakure. Unbeknownst to Kurogakure, Kumogakure had also prepared alongside Iwagakure within their village. It didn't take long at all for the fighting to begin, Kaname came face to face with a man from Kumogakure. The two fought for hours, with neither side giving in.
The man felt confident in his use of Lightning, the perfect counter to Kaname's steel. But, Kaname quickly took control of the battle and slayed his foe. His first kill since abandoning his position within Amegakure. He wasn't sure how to feel.
He was a simple man, an innocent man. But, his sole reason for fighting was because of the tyrannical rule of the Kage,
he was merely following orders. Kaname, from that moment onwards no longer concerned himself with the morality of taking ones life. After all, Kurogakure in history would be seen as the villains, that was something that suited Kaname just right.

Kaname pressed onwards and came across a strange lady from the Hidden Rain village, it seemed his old village had come to give assistance towards the falling nations. Kaname immediately attacked the woman, she was caught unawares and died instantly. Kaname felt even less care than he did when he killed the previous man. This was simply because of her allegiance. They would all fall as she had.

Kaname continued, he finally found himself at the Kage Mansion. Everyone in the landmark had fled including the Kurogakure members. Seems as if they had been ordered too, but by whom. Kaname saw the Knight of Havoc in the distance. Kaname remembered how peaceful and quite the landmark was. But that would all change within an instant.

With that final attack, the war had been concluded. The Kage Mansion was no more. Kaname learned of the one's who had fallen during this war and discovered the Knight of Tragedy, the Reaper had fallen. Kaname didn't know how to feel about this news. Was he happy the man who tortured him so brutally had fallen? Or was he sad that the man who set him free had fallen. Kaname almost didn't believe it. It was too soon.

Thus, the remaining members of Kurogakure returned back to their base and some went separate ways in order to recharge before the next fight.

Kurogakure Vs The World - Conclusion.

With the Great Nations being defeated at last. The members of Kurogakure found themselves on the other end of a wanted poster everywhere they went. The Great Nations attempted to rebuild but it was simply far too difficult. It would take up too much time and resources. Kaname, now that Kurogakure had dissolved needed to find out what exactly his parents were like, namely the Father he barely remembers. He did a lot of researching and infiltrating, changing his appearance to make it easier. It wasn't until he acquired intel from from Iwagakure's anbu records and the police force records in Konohagakure. Kaname discovered his Father was amongst the high ranks in the Uchiha Police Force. So,
Kaname came to the assumption that he had the blood of an Uchiha within him too. He continued to read and discovered just why his family had been seeked out. It was simply because his parents were far too powerful, and if a kid such as Kaname had both their powers, the Tsuchikage was afraid they would attempt to overthrow him. Full of hatred Kaname begins releasing it on the surrounding area, releasing jutsu after jutsu in an attempt to release some steam. During the fit of rage he notices something different, with his eyes. Kaname had awaken the Sharingan. Kaname almost cried, the wish of both his Mother and Father had been passed onto Kaname. The Sharingan and the Steel Element. Kaname got up from the ground with a murderous intent in his eyes, it was time for this Ninja World to move into the Era of Wars, and Kaname would be ready.​



『Other』

Steel & Fire: Kaname has gained such great confidence and mastery with the Steel element that he can perform all Steel-related techniques with only a single hand seal and with great speed. In addition, he has gained such great confidence and affinity with the Fire element that he can perform all Fire techniques with faster hand seals, compared to other shinobi.

Taijutsu Specialist: Kaname, through great effort and training, has gained a great proficiency in Taijutsu. Being a master of close quarter combat, he gains some additional strength and speed than the average shinobi.

Fuuinjutsu: Kaname learned the skills of Fuuinjutsu during his years and posses quite an arsenal of Jutsu for the ability. Including a few body seals placed on various places on Kaname's Body. (Of course I can't use these yet it's just easier for me to list them now rather than later.)

Fuuinjutsu: Fantomu ken o hauringu) - Sealing Technique: Howling Phantom Swords

Description: The user after placing a unique version of the lightning blade creation seal on his body. Will perform two handseals before clapping his hands. Activating a powerful sealing jutsu on his body that allows him to summon a grand armory of weapons from his body at any point. Once activated the sealing technique remains able to summon and replace destroyed weapons from the users body. The weapons summoned can be hugely varied basic weapons of the users choice and when summoned will hover around his body within a 5 meter radius being controlled by his hand gestures in a similar fashion to the floating ninja tools jutsu. These weapons carry a static damage property of D rank damage each and the user is capable of having up to six weapons summoned at any one time. If destroyed another weapon can be summoned in it's place, upon summoning the weapons initially appear somewhat ethereal before forming completely, while this is only momentary it prevents the weapons just popping up in mid air with no forewarning. Essentially this jutsu gives the user a unique ability to have weapons readily available to him at any point. This jutsu is the cornerstone of the phantom swords techniques. These weapons are formed from raw chakra focused in a similar fashion to the rasengan making them capable of competing with elemental jutsu equally when released they are raw chakra which the user focuses causing the slight delay.

Fuuinjutsu: Fantomu ken o hauringu: Dai gōshi āsenaru) - Sealing Technique: Howling Phantom Swords: Armiger Arsenal)

Description: An improvement on the original Howling Phantom Swords technique, the user will sacrifice the ability to summon the six swords and instead replace them with a singular weapon of increased power, there are several of these weapons and each one has unique properties. But only one may be summoned at any given time. Summoning a replacement will cause the one present to vanish and it's effects will no longer be usable. This technique can be activated once the parent technique is active, and can only be sustained for four turns before reverting to the parent technique for four turns to recharge. At which point the user can reactivate it at the cost of a move slot. The abilities of the various weapons will be listed below. The technique works by supplying increased chakra to the parent technique. While the seal itself remains A ranked the chakra provided to the weapons is heightened.

Aqesiro
Sword that slices through space and time, allowing its wielder to warp at will.
The first of the swords and also one that may only be used by a Minato biography or a biography with access to the flying thunder god technique. The sword is marked with the seal of the FTG on creation, the blade takes the form of a scimitar with a single edged cutting blade. Reminiscent of a pirates sword. With a large square crossguard. As with all of the Howling Phantom swords it's composed of pure chakra of S ranked and behaves as the other swords in it's strengths and weaknesses. It can also be controlled in the same way as the howling phantom swords. The blade allows the user to teleport to it once every two turns and this costs a move slot.

Secace
Storied sword that strikes with waves of resonance. Calls forth the formidable power of the Knightswords.
The second of the swords of the Armiger Arsenal. Secace takes the form of a longsword with a double edged cutting style. Reminiscent of a captains sword. With a circular crossguard. This sword is part of the elemental variants and allows the user to use the water element to resonate through the blade upon striking, it will cause water to blast through the opponent or object struck finding any orifice such as pores or porous material to penetrate the target causing heavy internal damage. As with all of the Howling Phantom swords it's composed of pure suiton chakra of S ranked and behaves as the other swords in it's strengths and weaknesses. It can also be controlled in the same way as the howling phantom swords. The ability of the blade can be used once every two turns and is considered an S ranked move.

Galatine
Gallant greatsword that cuts through thin air to find its mark. Calls forth the protective power of the Knightshield.
The third of the swords of the Armiger Arsenal. Galatine takes the form of a greatsword with a double edged cutting style. Reminiscent of a giant knights sword. With a rectangular crossguard. This sword is part of the elemental variants and allows the user to use the wind element to create a large shield in front of the blade composed of pure wind chakra that is capable of blocking against attacks. As with all of the Howling Phantom swords it's composed of pure fuuton chakra of S ranked and behaves as the other swords in it's strengths and weaknesses. It can also be controlled in the same way as the howling phantom swords. The ability of the blade can be used once every two turns and is considered an S ranked move.

Rhongomyniad
Lance that nimbly negates damage using displacement. Calls forth the preventive power of the Knightguard
The fourth of the swords of the Armiger Arsenal. Rhongomyniad takes the form of a large dragoon lance instead of a sword. The spear is three meters in length. Reminiscent of a spartans primary weapon. With a hooked end aimed to cause huge damage to an opponent. This sword is part of the elemental variants and allows the user to use the fire element to create a wave of fire aimed to consume attacks heading towards the user while pushing him 5 meters in an chosen direction. As with all of the Howling Phantom swords it's composed of pure katon chakra of S ranked and behaves as the other swords in it's strengths and weaknesses. It can also be controlled in the same way as the howling phantom swords. The ability of the blade can be used once every two turns and is considered an S ranked move.

Carnwennan
Daggers that light the darkness. Calls forth the paralyzing power of the Knightguard
The fifth of the swords of the Armiger Arsenal. Carnwennan takes the form of two large straight daggers instead of a sword. The daggers are large and double edged. Reminiscent of Roman Gladius though slightly smaller. This sword is part of the elemental variants and allows the user to use the lightning element to create a shroud of chakra to enhance the length of the daggers to roughly the size of normal swords. When this chakra clashes with an opposing technique one of two things happen, if it overpowers the technique the electricity will run through the length of the technique and travel on paralyzing the opponent, or if the techniques cancel each other the lightning shroud will explode in to a flash of blinding light capable of blinding an opponent. As with all of the Howling Phantom swords it's composed of pure raiton chakra of S ranked and behaves as the other swords in it's strengths and weaknesses. It can also be controlled in the same way as the howling phantom swords. The ability of the blade can be used once every two turns and is considered an S ranked move.

(Fūinjutsu: Ken'o) – Sealing Technique: Abhorrence

Description: An advanced defensive barrier technique employing special talismans on the user’s body similar to those used in the Protective Tag Technique. The talismans are adorned with the Kanji for ‘Abhorrence’ and will generally be used in conjunction when the user transforms his or her body into a particular state or element (Water, Energy, Earth, Steel, etc). The barrier produced by Abhorrence is highly malleable, intangible, and transparent and will act to ‘coat’ the user’s body very much like armor. The nature of the barrier is purely defensive acting to protect the user’s transformed body from techniques which attempt to seal or absorb it. These techniques include Dark Release Absorption and advanced Fūinjutsu although can include other advanced absorption abilities. The barrier is self-sustained acting to siphon the user’s chakra passively and cannot be absorbed itself by these techniques. Abhorrence can effectively prevent and repel S-Rank and below techniques which attempt to seal or absorb the user’s transformed body. Because of its malleability and intangibility the barrier can proactively shape itself to fit the user’s body should their shape or size change. The talismans act to react to the presence of the aforementioned techniques producing the barrier in response to their presence, happening instantly (in the same TF but still costing a move). Alternatively, the barrier can be actively used allowing for it to be used within the same timeframe as the user’s transformation or entirely independent of it. Although this second application requires the user use four hand seals and requiring one of the user’s three moves per turn. Once the barrier is erected it will remain active for four turns. Abhorrence can be activated three times per battle. Talismans must be stated in the user’s biography or can be equipped during battle.
