Like you know, Kakashi possess the best attack in this manga which is call "Kamui". But what's kamui exactly?
The technique consist to create a sort of black hole sphere from nowhere which can attract almost everything even light itself. It's not that different from this:
A black hole has an amazing gravitationnal power which absorbs all matter near it. It has also a great relationship with the Big bang theory that created the univers in where we live.
Just look at this link and it will show you what only a "small" black hole sphere is capable to do:
So in the contrary to the popular belief, a black hole sphere normally don't need to touch an object to actually attrack it. It's that the gravitationnal power is too strong that the object will be attracted directly into the black hole sphere even if it's not near from it at the start.
Potentially then, Kamui has the same principe and it's why this technique is really dangerous. Much more dangerous than people think. Remember when Kamui absorbed Deidara's explosion clay. It was really big, and Kakashi actually only created a small black hole but this small black hole exactly like on the link i've shared actually devourate it like it was nothing. The principe is almost the same as the Big bang theory that created the univers, but it's obviously on an hole other level.
I only made it to show you how kamui could really be overpowered if kishimoto wanted it, but the potential of this technique is screwed since kishimoto Kakashi never uses it for different reasons, chakra especially, but sometimes also plot no jutsu
