maybe Kotoamatsukami wears off when the caster dies.. & maybe not.. but it is genjutsu & u could still break out of it.
Kamui traps you in another dimension.. where you could possibly stay forever...

Inside Obito eyes is an unique ablility-Kamui,and yeah susanoo and amaterasu are ordinary uchiha jutsus,
why?
Sasuke can perform Susanoo and ama
Itachi can perform Susanoo and ama
Madara can perform Susanoo and ama
Obito(with booth eyes( that eye from kakashi) can perform susanoo and ama
but the question is ,can sasuke,itachi,madara perform Kamui? the answer is not
so +1 for obito,
