If FTC existed ,then why was kabuto able to cut itachi in halfLol?

you don't think that since itachi was Edo he was being a little reckless? He knew he was gonna regenerate anyway.

And how its it base off of foot speed if they were in mid air?

No ,itachi isn't stupid ,if he can just turn himself into several crows then why didn't he?specially that kabuto was about to control him again but for sasuke
Why didn't itachi use the called FTC when kabuto controlled the ground to attack him ?
Also ,in your main post 's pic ,there were crows even after itachi appeared behind kabuto ,that means this crows aren't itachi but his clone(or just ginjutsu)

No ,kakashi may used susano's remains as a launch base ,and as I said it isn't clear yet but it is either instant teleportation plus raiki or so high foot speed plus intangibility plus raiki
