Minato said it was better, but is it?

Minato showed no sign of fatigue from using ftg, it has no counter dimension known, and he can use it instantaneously back to back, unlike the time lag between kamui's.

What do you think?

(Oh really, I don't care) You know who I'm talking to.

Minato meant Kamui is more advanced, which it is because you can choose to stay in the other dimension if you want.

It's not better than FTG in a battle though because you can take out more enemies quicker and cover a wider range much faster than with kamui

obito's kamui is more usefull

don't forget he uses senju cells too
Is it, minato got him not the other way around. Obito's Kamui wasn't known to have a weakness at the time minato commented on it. He considered time and development when he said that. He didn't know it was Obito he didn't know the person using it couldn't use a wide array of jutsu. He wasn't talking about the ability he was talking about the person.

They are a bit different in nature of use.

This is stating the obvious but here's what I think about the 2 techs.

Kamui uses a lot of chakra and is used mainly as an offensive tech to take an object to another dimension. If you can't get out then its OP but if you can then its useless tech for offense and would used mainly for defense and we have seen of your fast enough before the user activated the tech you can hit the user.

Ftg, on a fundamental level it's actually more useful and effective. Doesn't seem to use much chakra and can be used with other techs to defend and attack. As long as you have seal formala somewhere you can wrap there and bam. It's actually very useful to have seal on a kunai like he does it since it can be used with battle tactics on midst a battle.

You can't say one is faster than other as they use time space manipulation for different affects. One is for position change and the other is for dimension change.

I wonder what would happen if minato got wrapped to that other dimension? Can he simply wrap back to a seal marker in real world? If so kamui would be useless against someone with FTG.

It appears FTG is a tech made by the 2nd hokages after recent chapters wonder what other techs he has.

Speed of activation equal, speed of repetition very different I'll show you.

lool , come on ... even minato admited that kamui is far greater ..
and if ur saying ftg is greater couse of the fight ..
then dont forget that tobi was not even 13 when he fought minato ... so , its not at its fullest power
and he never imagined he advanced ftg to that lvl .... but if they fought agn , i am 100% sure minato will not
have a chance ....
trust me , kamui is the most advansed and best space /time skill ever ...
i cant even blive ur even talkin about this ...
minato's skill needs a seal at the place ur goin to appear ... and kamui doesnt need anythin ... he just appeares thair ..

Well, Minato didn't know anything about Obito's kamui, but Obito knew everything about Minato's FTG. The only reason Obito was able to follow Minato to his "safe house", was because he knew, where it is, and that Minato would use a kunai to go there.

So Minato's description of it, is one sided, and he didn't know enough to deem it better or worse.

What decides which is better, is whether or not, you can summon yourself from that dimension to another. In other words, can Minato escape Obito's dimension with FTG (which is a reverse summoning jutsu). If so, FTG>>>Kamui
