Well, I'll try to make this brief. for one, everyone is saying that Kakashi can use both the ability to transport himself and other things to the other dimension, because of how he teleported himself back when Obito brought him there.

Personally, i believe that the only reason Kakashi could perform such a thing is because he was in "his dimension" therefore he controls what goes on there. this could be wrong, its just my opinion.

Also, this is more of a "what if?" kind of thing, if Kakashi looked through glass and used Kamui, what would happen? would it send away the glass, the person behind it, or both?

hmmm... good question. i mean obito's eye works both ways, so why not kakashi's? they come from the same person right? but sharingan eyes never carry the same trait in both eyes....which could possibly elude to one of them having another tech.

I think, Kamui is nothing more than a door-opener. I don't think it matter on what side of the dimension he is, Kamui is just a key to open it. This is my theory.

Kamui is shown to work as a black-hole, but everything that goes through a black-hole breaks of into moleculair sized bits,..
If Kakashi, would look through a glass he would suck in the glass, break it, then suck in everything that's behind the glass... and so on.
