It's exactly this the issue since i don't think the hiraishin mark is made of chakra. Otherwise onmyoudon should have been capable to erase it, otherwise Minato would be capable to teleport anyone marked, something he has never showed to be capable to

To absorb the whole sphere, the diameter of Kamuis Kekkai had to be a lot bigger though. It's obvious that Kakashi reached the limit of his chakra. On the other hand Kakashi even said not long ago, he isn't able to absorb large objects without Kuramas chakra.

Kakashi knew he owns madara already, he just wanted to see if guy can do 1/10 of his kamui, I think kakashi is now disappointed, because 8 gate is not 1/10 of kamui U_U

I agree only to a certain extent. There is still no confirmation that Kamui works on the Jinchuriki itself but rather on Omnyōdōn. If what you're saying was true, then Kakashi would have warped Madara from the beginning. Also I doubt the Jutsu's moniker has anything to do with the reason it was successful, but more along the lines of the function of the Jutsu----in that: It isn't a chakra or a projection of chakra to be cancelled but rather a curvature in space and time. ​

I think kishi planned ahead when he nerfed obitos kamui when he was juubi jin. He knew if obito had kamui he would be unstoppable but also that means kamui would also work on Madara as jin too. He didn't let obito use it to show that the juubi Jin can't go to the other dimension.

^^ In short, You are right that Kamui can still works at Black substance but you are wrong to assume that Black Stuff = Onmyoudon. In the spoiler I posted the link where I explained about Onmyoudon so please read it.

Conclusion: Onmyoudon(Yin/Yang energies balance) is not automatic stuff to use, while black stuff is combinaton of four or even all five elements natures, it can includes Onmyoudon or can act without it.

In short, your tittle is wrong. It should be "Kamui > Black stuff/substance "
