Kamui isnt Instant.

First im going to break down Kamui into its three abilities.

Intangibility.
Close range teleporting.
Long range teleporting.


Intangibility is what Obito used. He sent his physical body parts into the kamui dimension instantly to avoid damage. Its instant because he only sends parts at a time. Sending his whole body takes longer due to the size.


Close range Kamui is Obitos other ability. Although it is fast it isnt instant. It takes a short time for him to suck up his body or his target into the kamui dimension. Examples. Minato escaping. If it was instant he wouldnt have been free. Torune injuring him. He wouldnt have been touched if it was instant.


Longrange Kamui is more useful due to being much faster. Able to teleport a speeding raiton kunai to the dimension. It also isnt instant. Deidara was able to escape, although it cost him an arm.

If it was instant, then it would instantly suck up whatever its targeting. No amount of interference would matter due to it happening already.

Even if he's the DMS Kakashi/Obito with Rikudo chakra. The phasing is instant. Not the absorbing of other things

Umm how long did it take Onoki to expand his jinton cube. Enough time to give obito a chance to save Sasuke. Before he launched it he talked to Sasuke. Giving obito enough time

How do you dodge a slash moving instantaneously?


2) Sasuke was suppose to be crushed, but was saved at a distance instantaneously.

Thats true. But people that are fast enough can escape it. Its not inescapable.

Yes. But close doesn't cut it in the narutoverse. Any opening is enough for a high speed ninja.

It's more like 2 on 1. Obito never engaged her directly sasuke was getting bopped left and right sakura didn't do anything till the end and Kakashi(despite soloing) was again only available at the end.

Minato escaped Kamui while being sucked in. Feat.
Ay dodged point blank amaterasu. Feat.
Rock lee dodged 5 TSB while carrying guy. Feat
Guy. You seen his speed feats.
Naruto deflected 5 tbbs with speed alone. Feat.
Sasuke. Able to keep up with Bm naruto. Feat.
Tobirama. Able to surprise a MS user that was on par with Madara. And teleported a tsb from minato to obito in the blonk of an eye. Feat.

Teuchi able to cook ramen at the speed of light. Feat.
