Well for starters, Kakashi had a version 1 cloak when he was going to do that. when he barley got chakra from naruto the first time it felt 3 or 4 more times his normal amount, and with the full cloak he got from naruto that multiplies his chakra reserves beyond 3 or 4, as kakashi said it is way more than before. So Kakashi on an ordinary day could not one shot the juubi. However, he is proficient in it and has learned to master it through this war. It was only a jutsu Kakashi used as a last resort, didnt even use it against Kakazu and Hidan which if Kakashi was as good as he was now he would have destroyed Hidan but the fact he didnt proves how much more advanced he is now.
I think you're getting too serious though, it is only good in certain instances. nobody is just going to stand there and let kakashi warp them away, hashirama and madara will know how to dodge it and be aware of it the first time they dodge it. and how many times can kakashi use it? If kakashi's reflexes were as fast as literally everyone makes it seem, he wouldve been able to stop the rasengan being flown at him. his choices were to kamui it and potentially be tired, or get hit by it and take a shitload of damage. and he took it cause he couldnt warp it.
Now lastly, I will give you this, I am not so sure how Kamui works. In the sense that how Obito and Kakashi have it. When we first figured it all out we declared that Kakashi had the offensive kamui and Obito had the defensive kamui, then the wank began with omfg what if Obito had both his eyes and lived he wouldve been the best cause he would have the double kamui. But what I do not understand is if that is true, I can understand how Obito can stop Kakashi's Kamui with his own, he simply is just overlapping what kakashi was trying to send (the mazo) and technically used kamui reversely and made it intangible then retanglible in the living world. That makes sense Obito stopped it with defense, and Obito can warp/bring things out of the dimension. And Obito absorbing somebody by touch would technically be defensive, Kakashi from a distance can send things as an attack. There is a difference in how they both use Kamui, but what I am not getting is how can Kakashi warp himself in and out of the dimension? That should be unique to Obito's eye. If that is so, if Kakashi can really go in and out of the dimension, with perfect mastery he can be as OP as how Tobi was with slipping through attacks. But if that is the case and Kakashi can use both abilities of Kamui in one eye then what would the purpose of a double kamui have been?
