Besides the fact that the users of this jutsu (kamui), Kakashi and Obito, are only accessible to half of the jutsu due to only one sharingan, the jutsu is still deadly if used right. Apart from using clones to make kamui hit the wrong target, there is no counter for kamui. If someone is already caught in the dimensional portal, he can't escape being sucked inside. Regardless of the fact that kamui hasn't killed anyone in Naruto, think about how deadly it would be if someone other than Kakashi or Obito could use it, and he could use both long (kakashi's) and short-ranged (obito's) kamui, if he has a standard amount of chakra unlike kakashi and obito. And besides Kakashi who only uses kamui on life-threatening occasions and obito who only used his when he has the opportunity, which he rarely gets an opportunity to use it in battle, imagine if the wielder was engaged in a battle full of bloodlust and immediately the fight starts, he just uses kamui to end it all. THERE IS NO STOPPING THAT AT ALL. This is why kamui is the best jutsu in the world just that Obito and Kakashi haven't used it effectively

U want to say itachi since thats where that quote comes from but obito with his ms is more than enough for itachi.
Now if obito kept or took back his sharingan he would have long range kamui and by default susanno. The only thing that would stop him is chakra limits.
