It is a teleportation Jutsu , but unlike Minato who can teleport in different places but in the same dimension , Kamui teleports in Different dimensions

Anyway , I wouldn't suggest to base on Sakura's thoughts Lol

it's a space/time jump. Kamui users warp from point A to point B without physically occupying the distance in between said points.

So FTG is only high speed movement? Don't know if that's correct since no time passes when they go from point A to point B so they aren't moving, right?

Well Shino's definition of teleportation isn't exactly accurate I will give you that. Teleportation is more than just high speed movement. You literally go from point A to point B without traversing the distance between said points instantaneously.

EDIT: I think the reason shino doesn't consider it teleportation is because of the way Obito can phase parts of his body from harm. If it was teleportation Obito would kill himself with Kamui by ripping his own head (or other body part) off teleporting it momentarily elsewhere to avoid a hit.

but I think most others have pretty much answered.

Translocation is the correct term i beleive,
But it's still teleportating, on a different plane.
And then he can re locate to another location

Sometimes you are smart you know :ilu:

It's dimensional shifting/jumping, isn't that obvious?

Shunshin and Teleportation are frequently interchangeable in the manga, as the editors don't know the difference.

So it is teleportation, but Shunshin, which is just high speed movement, is also incorrectly referred to as teleportation.

Space-Time, however, always refers to teleportation in the context of the manga.

Obvious is something that's easy to see an understand. I wouldn't call Kamui obvious, like if we never got a detailed explanation on how it works (how Kishi did some techniques) I doubt any of us would know how it works.

I believe he didn't consider it teleportation because if he really did teleport his body parts when he phases, he'd be ripping them off.

Kamui doesn't simply go from point A to point B. First he warps to his dimension then when he warps out, he appears in another location of his choosing. Perhaps he didn't consider it teleportation since it seemed to be more complicated than that.

It's teleportation. But in this manga (stupidly) teleportation and shunshin is synonymous. So it refers to ACTUAL teleportation as spacetime.

They do the same crap with ftg.

Space/time ninjutsu.

Edit:

Also teleporrtation in that panel refers to shunshin, high speed movement.
The only ones that knows about this. Kishi and editors for some reason, place those two as two interchangable terms. Which is completely flawed to begin with.

Teleportation in that context was Body Flicker. Lol
