If minato were able to teleport to Kakuzu This would also serve as a problem especially if he had all 3/4 masks In there and like i said if he started in that form he would

Agreed.

Minato creates a shadow clone. He then teleports back to Konoha while his clone fends off Kakuzu and brings back an ANBU squad to assist him fighting Kakuzu. Minato wins =P
Sorry, but no help from the outside.

i like how you keep trying to bring up kunai when i'm talking about instant teleportation to a marked kakuzu. There's no kunai involved :| Good try bro.
If you think iron skin is some auto defence and kakuzu can feint minato then that's up to you. Minato was able to react to a guy who appeared behind him :|

I know, but to mark him Minato has to reach him first and Kakuzu could make a hand sign in that time. Not knowing about Kakuzu's hearts is a serious disadvantage. Kakashi caught him off guard with a Raikiri in the back and almost died because of it. Minato would have to kill him 5 times and there's no way to find that out unless he tells you. Plus, Kakuzu tricked Kakashi even thought Kakashi has a dojutsu such as a Sharingan. If he marks him and starts teleporting to Kakuzu, it would take a fair amount of Rasengan to break his skin and Kakuzu won't allow that. He would predict where Minato would appear (next to him) and strike with his threads

The only thing that Kakuzu goin for him in this fight is his diamond skin. However all of his offensive jutsu's put him at a severe disadvantage because they are all projectile, or missile based. For example, Fūton: Atsugai. The reason this poses a disadvantage to Kakuzu is because Minato can simply redirect his attacks back at him with Jikūkan Kekkai or dodge the attacks with just raw speed(no need to waste chakra on FTG as he is fast enough to dodge Kakuzu's attacks, but FTG is still an option). Minato does not need to injure Kakuzu, just wait for him to tire.

Simply put however, Kakuzu has no way of injuring Minato and would either have to retreat, or would eventually lose due to chakra depletion. :)

What I meant by missile based was that his justsu's are one directional, meaning that they would be easy to redirect with space time barrier.

Minato can't escape Kakuzu's jutsu without Ftg.

@Bold: Kakuzu could do the same, but considering that each Kakuzu's heart have their own chakra, Kakuzu has as much as chakra like 5 people maybe even more. Minato may have a little more chakra than an average person, but he doesn't have chakra as 5 people.

Shikamaru, Ino.....Even Choji were able to dodge Kakuzu's jutsu. There's no need for someone as fast as Minato to waste chakra on FTG to dodge his jutsu's. Even still, FTG uses hardly any of his chakra, he would need to use it atleast dozens and dozens of times to even begin to tire. On the other end, for every time Kakuzu uses jis elemental jutsu's, a considerable amount of chakra is used. Minato can outlast him easily.

The thing is, Kakuzu will block minato's initial flurries. He may tank a rasengan, kill some toads, dodge some kunai, what ever. But, eventually he'd get marked. When that happens (he won't notice, no one does), minato 'kills' him. Now, minato thinks he's dead, but then kakuzu gets back up. Minato wonders whats going on and eventually he'll see the masks and that one is broken (either kakuzu goes earth grudge, or he releases the masks) but basically he'd notice a broken mask. If the masks were out and he killed kakuzu, he'd notice a mask going into kakuzu reviving him, then breaking. We know minato is smart. Right there he'd notice something isn't right and wonder what's going on. Kakuzu is already marked, and unless he sits entire fight with domu active(he won't be able to move at all), minato will kill him again. Minato will find the link between masks and lives, and it will only be a matter of time before kakuzu dies.

The biggest thing is minato has an arsenal of nature, barrier and sealing techniques we have never seen. That will work in his favour to beating kakuzu. That and the fact that minato is a bigger mystery that kakuzu. Kakuzu's only mystery is domu and his hearts. Minato has FTG, barrier techs, sealing techs that mostly no ninja know about.
Infact, kakuzu would most likely lose his first heart from a flying kunai. Knowing about FTG isn't knowing about FTG2. He'd see minato teleporting to kunai and make that link. Minato would probably try a rasengan on him (because minato is quicker than him and wouldn't need to resort to FTG2 to do something like that initially), kakuzu will use domu and minato would learn that secret. Then, minato throws a kunai, kakuzu dodges it or, worse yet, deflects it thinking it's just minato tossing his kunai as a diversion, but then minato would use FTG2 and kakuzu wouldn't have time to react and use domu. Obito didn't evenhave time. From there, kakuzu has lost 1 heart, and he's marked. Unless kakuzu starts with full info on minato (pretty much impossible unless minato hands you a handbook on 'how to defeat me. Secrets of all my jutsu), kakuzu would be fighting in the blind.

Remember, everyone we've seen minato fight didn't know about;
FTG2
his ability to mark with just a touch

Infact, bee probably didn't even know he would have teleported to the kunai. He probably just saw minato appear and retaliated quickly.

EDIT: Also, FTG barrier can pose a serious threat to kakuzu. Minato could possibly redirect flash darkness back to him. He'd be dead right there since domu can't tank that.
Minato could potentially take out three of kakuzu's hearts in a flash.
FTG2
Marked FTG blitz
Redirected flash darkness.
From there kakuzu has to be extremely careful.

But your forgetting that when minato teleports there is a small period of time Where He appears and then attacks which means that during that time kakuzu would activate this
or this

since each of those masks Have A heart when minato hits kakuzu with rasengan or whatever attack he needs the masks would continue to fire hitting minato in the process And if minato sees this and decides to attack one of the masks instead kakuzu would proceed to finish minato with his threads ( please see same link) and theres no STB that quickly

honestly, I don't understand what you were trying to say. you're saying kakuzu uses those attacks during the small window for FTG2?
Obito didn't even have time to go intangible and that's pretty much instantaneous for him dude... Even with marked ftg. He does it so quickly that tobi didn't have time to react. By the time he did it, he already had a kunai in tobi, and contract seal activated before tobi even realised what happened.

LOL WTF?!
Dude I gave you MANGA PROOF accompanied with two scans where they all clearly dodge the attack. Please do explain what was misanalysed, really I'm curious.

Common misconception:

"Kakuzu can stay in Doton Domu" incorrect. Doton Domu solidifies the users insides, and outside layers making them as hard as diamond. This results in the inability to move while the technique is active. Keeping such a technique up to protect himself against Minato's ftg barrage would leave him to getting tagged no doubt, and subjected to a new attack method (Minato has been shown to be a keen thinker).

that's his only chance tbh. If he doesn't he pretty much loses 3 hearts right off the bat... But really, no one has intel on minato. Not even the villagers know the secrets of his jutsu. Not even his own students knew what he could do lmao.

Those pictures you posted showed that Kakuzu's Ninjutsu are huge and that Minato will need FTG to escape.

You have good points, I would + rep you if I didn't do it already :)

If Minato kills Kakuzu the first time, he will let his guard down and think that Kakuzu is dead. Kakuzu would trick him and kill him then, Kakashi couldn't predict that Kakuzu had more hearts even with a Sharingan. Also, Kakuzu has shown the abillity to make his threads and hands go underground. Kakashi was unable to predict that even with a Sharingan that Minato doesn't have. Kakuzu can take the kunais with his threads and burry them underground. He could also attack with an Iron Skin hardened hand behind Minato's back from underground. And once again, Kakashi who has a Sharingan could see throught that so I doubt someone without a dojutsu can.

Umm no, the technique was fired right at them, they were able to move out of the death zone of the blast, you can clearly see on the second screen the SFX:sliding and grabbing, meaning that Shikamaru and Ino had retreated and were sliding due to the shockwave and Choji was grabbing onto the ground to avoid flying away.

No, they were far away from Kakuzu, when Kakuzu fired a technique at them from a closer distance Kakashi had to stop it with two Raikiri.
