You forget to factor in one important thing: Minato's intelligence. Throughout the series, we've seen intelligence triumph over power (just look at my avatar!) and Minato's arguably the most intelligent character we've been introduced to so far (the contenders being Tobi and Itachi). He'll figure out Kakuzu.

Like Itachi once said, every jutsu has a weakness (just before destroying Chibaku Tensei). The person whose heart Kakuzu uses for his defence was beaten by Kakuzu. If Kakuzu can beat that ninjas defence, Minato can beat that defence too.

+rep for that, its obvious throughout the series minato has been known to an intelligent ninja along side proving that against tobi and kyuubi, but kakuzu was also very intelligent i would say he could easily find away to make his weakness less of a problem on top of the fact that how he could of beat the ninja's defense was by using it's elemental weakness( if he had the heart of it at the time)

I love Minato but I'm gonna have to go with Kakuzu. He simply has too many elements to use against Minato. Minato is fast but since Kakuzu has those things from his back spread out, it's not gonna be that easy to escape and kill all of them. Plus, Kakuzu has those thread thingies that he can spread out. Minato is kind of outnumbered here.

Kakazu is smarter than Minato with easily!
He has over a century of experience under his belt.
He easily outsmarted Shikimaru and out battled Kakashi.

If anything Kakazu is smarter than Minato and would easily figure out Minatos 2 tricks(FTG and rasengan) easily.
He also has more firepower than Minato without a doubt.

Dont see a way, all minato can do is catch him off guard...which seeing as its a 1(4) on 1 will be very hard ...and earth heart is probs the main 1 kakuzu will keep with him

Brains won't help if your up against someone who is also really smart. Minato does not have anything that can break through his diamond skin and Reaper Death Seal is restricted. Einstein will lose against a grisly bear.

Fans are no problem, neither are fanboys as they usually have a persuasive argument...buuut what i call them r FUG's are fans under genjutsu (spreadout ppl..spread it out :scorps no reason/backup/scenario/fact

i personally always prefer the person with speed over anything else and seeing as minato is the fastest known ninja..even i see that the only way for him to win(correct me if im wrong) is using a sealing tech..but i find it hard to think kakuzu would give him the time/opportunity to do so
