Defensive opponents (Oro, kaku, 3rd Rai) are bad matchups against minato. He lacks the power to do enough damage to them. I'm sure he would take a long time to bring Minato down, but in the end there just isn't much minato can do.

Knowledge: Minato knows about Kakuzu's 5 hearts. Kakuzu knows about FTG, Minato's Fuinjutsu, his speed, and his intelligence so he keeps his guard on.

Restrictions: Gamabunta

scenario: Kakuzu starts in Iron Skin, and has his 5 hearts in formation ready for battle. Minato has his FTG kunais ready and the fight starts from there.

So who wins, Kakuzu or Minato?

if kakzuku is dumb enough to go into a fight head on minato can easily tag him or simply throw a kunai behind his back and give a fetal blow

Sealing masters have had good records when facing overwhelming attacks so far. I'm sure he has something that will do him good here (he probably knows the 5 elemental seal). If he somehow doesn't have anything to get through Iron Skin (highly unlikely), then he can probably warp the Lightning style mask's attack back at Kakuzu.

Minato is faster , alot faster... even in base + insane reflexes ( ftg should just be seen as a bonus here) to end it faster
He wouldnt even need rasengans to destroy all hearts
A simple kunai will do just fine

Minato. With his base speed and the FTG, plus all the other tricks that we don't know about, he would easily win. Truthfully Kakuzu is kinda a one-trick pony when it comes down to it. His only advantage is the hearts, and if Minato knew about them he would win quickly.

minato kunais and taijutsu break on kakuzus skin. space time barrier probably counters long range but what happens when hes restrained by tendrils after being tricked into using it via a fuuton wave? what happens when hes tricked into resorting to death god and only seals one of the hearts? kakuzu is one of minatos worst matchups. tendrils find and toss the kunais away.

I'd say Kakuzu mid diff. Again, Minato lacks power to take Kakuzu down.
Also Kakuzu knows Minato's abilities thus he'd know how to fight.
