Kisame is going to be winning this more often than not.

I actually think Kakuzu has 51% chances while Kisame has 49% chance due to Kakuzu having extra lives advantage

Says the one with Kisame ava and Kisame sig

And. . ? I enjoy the character, obviously. My favoritism doesn't really affect my decision here. Kakuzu never really impressed me. And Kisame has shown to be a power house and a monster. Especially when it comes to chakra absorption and large level water techniques that could easily over power Kakuzu's abilities.

It makes more sense to me, is all I am saying.

Except No Wind+fire >Suiton .. .earth >Suiton ... He has the advantage only because of his chakra absorption.

Samehada has limitation when consuming this is oen of the reasons I give Kakuzu the edge by little.

I see Kakuzu taking this. If anyone wants to bring anything against my siding.. Than so be it, we shall debate it.

Oh yes, his combo moves will out class Kisame and his power lake creating jutsu? Kisame could do that at 30% of his chakra. And he can perform a massive little water jutsu I'd like to call, water dome. Oh, Great Shark Bomb. Face it, Kisame out classes him ninjutsu wise.

And, I may be wrong here, but isn't Domu (A great defense) the only Earth styled jutsu Kakuzu uses? Just by having it on won't make him able to naturally some how negate a water dome or Exploding Water Colliding Wave. It will give him SOME resistance to a Great Shark Bomb.

But the Great Shark Bomb far out classes Domu, and it's chakra absorption ability will soon rid Kakuzu of the chakra he has in use for Domu.

And his chakra absorption is a grand feat. Samehada was capable of absorbing six tails of chakra, and one swing when bandaged absorbed all of Naruto's chakra when he was using the Kyuubi's chakra. A level that Neji compared to a 30% chakra wise Kisame.

And, it's obvious that Kakuzu won't be having nearly as much chakra as Kisame. So, technically speaking. If Kisame goes into close range and Samehada makes contact with Kakuzu more than three or four times (Max). Kakuzu will be depleted of chakra and defeated.

Kisame's jutsu are more unique Ill give you that but I wouldn't say it outclasses Kakuzu's ninjutsu.

The manga applies he is an earth style use:

Kakuzu will be in great danger with this tech. What benefits him is the extra lives

But the Great Shark Bomb far out classes Domu, and it's chakra absorption ability will soon rid Kakuzu of the chakra he has in use for Domu.

True. Wouldn't his Domu temporally reduce the damage before it absorbs it? Extra lives is the key to continue:win:

Kisame seems to have different priories in absorbing different things this is why even Kakuzu's ninjutsu will still be useful when encountering Samehada.

Kisame can only absorb used chakra so Jingou can benefit him

I would, Kisame has massive water based jutsu. While Kakuzu's aren't bad, Kisame's just. . Are on a different scale.

I'm sorry for asking this. . I sort of feel silly, but you say this page implies earth use? Could you tell me where it is. .? Because I frankly only see Kakuzu being trolled.

Kakuzu will be in great danger with this tech. What benefits him is the extra lives

And you refer to the Great Shark Bomb? The extra lives will benefit him, but the jutsu would only deal siginificant damage if it forces Kakuzu to collide with a harder object. It's purely made to absorb chakra.

True. Wouldn't his Domu temporally reduce the damage before it absorbs it? Extra lives is the key to continue:win:

Again, Domu would nullify any damage Kakuzu would initially take. But Great Shark Bomb would also drain him of his chakra that is being used for Domu. So, the advantage Domu has is short lived.

And the lives don't matter to a foe like Kisame. His fighting style won't be to break the hearts, but to drain him of chakra and cause a death that way or bring him to a point where fighting back is impossible.

Eh? I don't know where you are getting this from. Samehada absorbed both Bee's lightning chakra and Bijuu chakra with indifference. If anything, absorbing the Bijuu chakra should be tougher. it's shown to be more powerful than regular chakra.

Again, Kisame could potentially rid Kakuzu of a massive chunk of his chakra. A 30% his was compared[ ] to a Kyuubi-chakra filled Naruto. Who, bandaged I shall repeat, he rid of chakra with one swing[ ].

Kisame can only absorb used chakra so Jingou can benefit him

What's stopping Kisame from absorbing Jingou exactly? Not only that, but Samehada unsheathed has every potential to cut it apart. And who even says he needs to? Senshokukō, a thousand feeding sharks is a quick[ ] and massive[ ] water technique that is sure to put the pressure on Kakuzu. Or, a Great Shark bomb at this moment would be ideal to zap him of chakra.

And if need be, a fusion followed by a Water Dome would be another great combo to finish Kakuzu off here. Even if Kakuzu wraps his threads around him, he will not so slowly lose chakra. Again, this form was devouring the remnants of the Hachibi's chakra.

Wouldn't the great Shark Bomb K.O. Kakazu?

No, the Great Shark Bomb more or less absorbs chakra being used and really doesn't have any raw power going for it. You're taken into the shark and dragged by it. Unless you're rammed into something or in it until you lose consciousness do to losing air, it wouldn't be a one hit KO.

Hmm... I'm actually looking forward to a good debate if someone presents one. I see Kisame winning more times then not.

You used to think Kakuzu takes it 6/10 times. What changed your mind?

I have done a scale on Kakuzu's jutsu's on an old thread long ago. If I were to review them, it is safe to say they are on par.

I'm sorry for asking this. . I sort of feel silly, but you say this page implies earth use? Could you tell me where it is. .? Because I frankly only see Kakuzu being trolled.

Bottom panel, Shikmaru's dad tells them to watch out for his earth techs (with the emphasis on the "s")

And you refer to the Great Shark Bomb? The extra lives will benefit him, but the jutsu would only deal siginificant damage if it forces Kakuzu to collide with a harder object. It's purely made to absorb chakra.

I agree on that

Again, Domu would nullify any damage Kakuzu would initially take. But Great Shark Bomb would also drain him of his chakra that is being used for Domu. So, the advantage Domu has is short lived.

Agree

And the lives don't matter to a foe like Kisame. His fighting style won't be to break the hearts, but to drain him of chakra and cause a death that way or bring him to a point where fighting back is impossible.

I agree that this will be Kisame's character of fighting

Eh? I don't know where you are getting this from. Samehada absorbed both Bee's lightning chakra and Bijuu chakra with indifference. If anything, absorbing the Bijuu chakra should be tougher. it's shown to be more powerful than regular chakra.

Samehada also had trouble consuming Itachi's Katon as a whole. Thats why I brought this up. His taste preference makes a difference too. Since it was unable to consume all of a ninjutsu at once my argument would be something like "the same of Kakuzu's scale of his attacks" would also apply.

Again, Kisame could potentially rid Kakuzu of a massive chunk of his chakra. A 30% his was compared[ ] to a Kyuubi-chakra filled Naruto. Who, bandaged I shall repeat, he rid of chakra with one swing[ ].

Unfortuntally, as I brought up earlier, Samehada consumes things by his taste performance. We can't assume "because his absorbs alot of bees chakra anyone with less chakra is screwed". Lets look at Kisames preference when he fought the 4 tails. If he said he had trouble would it, wouldn't it seem to be easier with one swipe that took out Bee chakra by alot, and bee has more tails/chakra then from 4 tails?

Theres no denying that he will absorb Kakuzu chakra but cant compare how much due to Sameahada's personal taste.

What's stopping Kisame from absorbing Jingou exactly? Not only that, but Samehada unsheathed has every potential to cut it apart. And who even says he needs to? I don't see how Kisame can absorb Jingou as of him absorbing Wood Release. You made a good scenario further on your point but there are also scenarios on Kakuzu behalf.

And if need be, a fusion followed by a Water Dome would be another great combo to finish Kakuzu off here. Even if Kakuzu wraps his threads around him, he will not so slowly lose chakra. Again, this form was devouring the remnants of the Hachibi's chakra.

The great thing about dying and reviving is to learn from your mistakes of your opponents arsenal. You can learn their tactics and knowledge on what they are capable of. With Kakuzu's intelligence, who which has higher then Kisame, he will be able to counter and predict Kisames next move. Thats why I would give Kakuzu over Kisame by a tiny bit

No it wouldn't. He'd send all his hearts underground like he did his heart against Shikamaru.

Thats a good tactic to do

Kisame takes this mid diff. He'll pretty easily trap Kakuzu in water dome and then he'd have a huge advantage. Kakuzus only chance is to take down Kisame before he uses Water Prison, but i highly doubt that would happen.
