Kakuzu vs Deidara (Negative Knight vs Rikerslade)

This is a debate thread between myself and the Rikerslade simply discussing the outcome of this match.

Location: Sasuke vs Deidara

Restrictions: C0 Suicide Bomb

Knowledge: Manga displayed knowledge of eachother's abilities. Kakuzu knows about explosives (vaguely) and Deidara knows about stitching/threads but not about the masks.

Distance: Both begin on Ground Level, Same distance Sasuke began against Deidara

Kakuzu because of his intelligence and experience.
Deidara is long-rage fighting style user which is his advantage but Kakuzu's mask can fly as well.
The next point, physical attack doesn't work on Kakuzu.
It wouldn't be easy fight but Kakuzu wins in my opinion.

I say Kakuzu wins with moderate amount of difficulty. His doton domu is going to save him from most of the explosions although C3 may deal significant damage regardless. Even still, if Kakuzu dies, one of his hearts can revive him so he can afford to take hits something that Deidara can't.

Deidara in the air will be somewhat troublesome but Kakuzu's large AoE attacks should be able to bring down his clay bird and even kill him. C4 is going to be an issue but due to the way Kakuzu's body is made up, I believe he is immune to that although it is debatable. Kakuzu also has raiton to make Deidara's bombs useless and with his level of intellect and experience, I believe Kakuzu should figure it out without much trouble.

His pressure wind attack should be able to blow away the bombs/explosions or at least keep them away.

Do you think it will completely disintegrate Kakuzu or will it only kill one of his hearts and then he can revive himself? That jutsu is very hax but even still, I think Kishi portrayed Kakuzu to be a stronger ninja than Deidara. Also Kakuzu may be able to beat Deidara before he can use C4.

Naruto was able to completely rip off Kakuzu's cell, C4 litterally blows them up so Yes Kakuzu will get disintergrate. If not all his hearts will

I think Kakuzu is stronger only because of it's match up. And I agree that Deidara can lose before the C4 problem. Kakuzu has the lightning feat to take it out.
