Okay, so this is an out of the ordinary versus thread and I apologize in advance for it. So my thoughts are about Kakuzu and how he would match up with the First Hokage. Looking at the history of how Kakuzu joined Akatsuki, we see that he left Takigakure because he failed to assassinate the First Hokage. His village hated him for failing the a mission and in pure rage, Kakuzu took flight from his village. In his departure, he stole the Earth Grudge Fear jutsu and also the five hearts of the village elders in Takigakure.
So my question is: Since Kakuzu failed the assassination BEFORE he obtained all of that incredible power, would he now stand a better chance at defeating Hashirama? Let's recap: Kakuzu has five elemental styles under his belt from each of the hearts he has, a body held together by very strong threads that can reform/detach at will, a centuries worth of battle experience (he is 91 due to his "immortality") and possibly other types of jutsu, five hearts that have to be each taken out individually and his masks that act as battle support against his opponents. Looking at it now, we see that Kakuzu has much more power since his defection from Takigakure.
Hashirama defeated (not killed) Madara Uchiha, so he must have alot of considerable strength in his tactics than meets the eye. Madara, being an extremely high level ninja on his own, is shown with remarkable power. So even being able to best him is a note worth considering. Also, his Mokuton jutsus are extremely superior and tough to combat as it is. Its hard to say since we do not know the full extent of Hashirama and his combat skills.
So what do you guys think about this? Post your response. And on another note, I am not a Kakuzu or Hashirama Fanboy nor a Fanboy in general. This is not a "OH WHO DO YOU GUYS THINK WILL WIN, EVEN THOUGH ______ IS INVINCIBLE AND CAN BEAT EVERYONE" post. This is a genuine post about speculation.
