I'll disagree with the Kakuzu versus Tsunade statement, but it is a somewhat close fight.. One could argue.

But, the bolded. I'd love for that to happen...'Cause then I'd be able to argue Kisame's regeneration>Sasori's poison.

1. So you think Tsunade vs Kakuzu is a close battle, yet you think Kakuzu solos Tsunade, Sakura, Shizune, Anko, Kurenai, Ino, Hinata, etc.
2. Can Kisame regenerate on cellular level?

No, he can't. He needs Samehada for it, and he will be poisoned anyway.

Samehada regenerates flesh wounds, not cell wounds, which is what poison does.

You guys do know that Sasori's poison affects cells themselves and paralyzes them, right? Now remind me again how do Kisame and Tsunade heal. By creating new cells out of old ones. This isn't possible since the cells would be paralyzed which would keep them form regenerating.

Poison isn't going to kill someone that survived being cut in two. Also, she already made an antidote to Chiyo's poison in the past and I doubt they're that different.

The Byakugou would stop the poison from spreading in Tsunade's body. It creates new cells if the old ones are damaged or destroyed.

Eh, she'll die. No matter how you look at it. Sasori's poison isn't really some ordinary poison. Tsunade managed to survive that by keeping herself with Byakugou most likley while Byakugou is useless against Sasori's poison. As for the antidote part. It wasn't her who made the antidote. Sakura made it and she only managed to do so because she had some of Sasori's poison. Sasori is a genius. He wouldn't risk someone making an antidote for his poison so he most likely changes it. Remember that Sasori is secretive and poison is his greatest weapon. Also giving Tsunade antidotes here is considered prep time.

It makes new cells out of the present ones in her body. Sasori's poison paralyzes the present ones in her body so there is no creating new ones.

No, it would create completely healthy cells. Why would it create poisoned cells?
Probably the best example is when Madara attacked her with Katons. The Byakugou created healthy and not burned cells.

Simple. The Katon didn't take effect on every cell in her body so Tsunade could use the healthy ones to create new ones that can replace the burned ones. Sasori's poison takes effect on them all so she can't create new and healthy ones.

But not instantly. It takes at least 3 days to take effect. Trust me, with full intel Tsunade can activate the Byakugo before the poison takes effect.

Actually, it takes three days to kill the opponent. It takes about a second or less to paralyze the cells and make the opponent's body numb.

Err its more than a second. It didn't paralyzed Kankuro, Chiyo and Sakura instantly.

Byakugou is useless against Sasori's poison.

So it made her survive being cut in two and impaled with three meter swords but can't resist poison. Legit.

I'unno, he probably can. Prob's should look into it a tad more.

And, most of 'em are non factors in this fight, TBH. And maybe I phrased it wrong. Tsunade makes it a closer fight then what people think. AKA, she doesn't get stomped or low diff'd.

The paralysis probably does take more than a second to take effect, but Sasori's poison travels fast enough.

Indeed, but Tsunade still has time to activate the Byakugou. And if she has full intel, she would activate it as the battle begins.

Poison and swords are two completely different things. :|

Full intel, Sasori knows how Byakugou works. The Yin Seal on her forehead spreads out chakra all over her body. Destroy that source and there will be no more byakugou. Tsunade is easy as balls to beat with full intel, I can probably beat her myself.
