I'm sure most of us remember Kakuzu stating he battled Hashi and survived.

Well with all this about Hashirama makes be wonder how Kakuzu actually survived and how the fight went down. Kakuzu might've been the one ninja that went in for a cheap shot on Hashi right after the Madara battle, landing a big hit before being defeated easily but surviving due his Earth Spear or hearts (if he had collected any at that time) and the fact that Hashi was severely weakened by the battle with Madara. Then after Kakuzu got away thinking he didn't accomplish anything, Hashi might've slowly died due to the injuries from both Madara and Kakuzu's cheap shots. (Read on to know when I think he died)

It seems plausible IMO and still fits with Kakuzu surviving but never boasting about beating the First as he didn't even know about what he had done either and also explains why Hashi was revived in his body from around the battle with Madara. And the whole thing about Hashi meeting Tsunade before dying could be remedied by instead of Hashi dying there and then, he might've received a rupture in a vital area that he had been keeping in check, but as he got older, he may have started to get weaker and not use his medical jutsu as good as he once could, leading to his death. Then you ask the question: Why doesn't he look old as an ET? Well, I'm sure you all know about Tsunade's technique that keeps her looking young? What if it was a technique originally developed by the Senju back then as a way of constantly rejuvenating themselves, keeping them in a healthy, prime state. However, it can't last forever as all it does is keep your body (This also ties with the Younger Son having the body so it may have even been a tech all the way from him) in optimum condition and doesn't extend your life, so as you get older, old age will still start to kick in, so even if your body is in great condition, your heart will still start to work less efficiently. So as Hashi got older, his jutsu power started to decrease (Not drastically. Just to the point of his high level medical jutsu holding the rupture together starting to get weaker) and he eventually couldn't hold it together anymore (Remember that he'd have had to do that all the time after Kakuzu attacked).

What do you guys think? I just wanted to make Kakuzu fit in the story somehow and I don't think this contradicts anything either. Do you think it's possible and might have happened (I'm guessing Kishi's never gonna mention Hashi V Kakuzu again)?

also im not saying kakuzu killed him in any way, i dont believe its possible, what are your thoughts about his death? how do you think he died ? im guessing by age hmm

kakazu was task while still a ninja for his village to kill hashirama, and no he did not have the earth grudge fear or his almost century combat exp.

Thats why kakuzu has mokuton. Damn he sure weilds it great. :|
Tsunade solos him. Hasirama is an Op tsunade with mokuton.

Kakuzu has Jiongu which is far from Mokuton. And Kakuzu beats Tsunade just saying.

OT: It is noted his assassination attempt failed. Had Hashirama died in subsequent days to follow (not too long after), it would have been noted, and Kakuzu would not have been brutally tourtured as a failure. It isn't impossible, but it is unlikely.
