Kakuzu's attack style is extremely randomised.
When he was fighting Kakashi and Team 10, he didnt just find the best attack and abuse it maliciously.
He swapped between all his elemental bazooka's
So its only a matter of time untill he uses the lightning one, Which can pierce through his Domu after being reflected by S/T barrier.
Minato can teleport out of any tendrils that catch him, making that ability fairly useless, as the tendrils dont kill instantly.
Minato's Rasengan is strong enough to kill kakuzu's masks, whatever you want to think.
Gamabunta could be summoned on top of the masks to crush them.

Minato almost definately has other abilitys, but i wont include them because i dont know what they are.

Well that's a good point. I didn't consider Gamabunta. That does increase his chances of winning. but I still believe his merged mask have enough firepower to harm/kill him.

this thread was well thought out . you make some valid points . however minatos summons could play a role in the fight. i agree it would be hard for minato to hurt kakuzu . i still dont see how kakuzu gets a hold of minato .

Thanks. That's what made this matchup so compelling to me. The easy choice would be minato because of his hype and significance, but after comparing their abilities, Kakuzu matches up well with him.

Well that's a matter of strategy. Minato is smart enough to do, but on the other hand, I think Kakuzu is also smart enough to prevent being attacked by his own mask. But it's a good strategy.

Well considering he has a defense like Domu, its gonna be REAL hard just to get through that considering his most offensive attacks are rasengan and kunai slices.

On top of that, he has 4 flying hearts that can each use their respective elements on a very high scale. which means that he will have to kill Kakuzu 5 times to win.

Without some sort of powerful piercing attack, Minato is gonna have a hard time beating him

S/T barrier requires a seal to teleport to, same as FTG. Without tagging kakuzu, which is suicide, he's not reflecting shit.

minato is very skilled at fighting big numbers, he took down 50 ninja in secounds so i dont see the mask making that much of an impact and minato would most likely destroy the masks in secounds
so i give this to minato

Yeah I forgot to mention them in my thread but I replied to someone earlier; his merged mask have enough firepower I think to kill the frogs.
