Appearance: Kaku has big black eyes with 3 eyelashes on top of his eye, and a long nose similar to Usopp's, only rectangular in shape. Due to this, several characters, such as Luffy, Sanji and Zoro have mistaken him for Usopp. In the past while in Kirigakure, he wore a white cap, a high-collared orange shirt with blue sleeves, jeans and white sneakers. While undercover for Konoha, he wore a black cap, a black suit jacket with an orange handkerchief in the breast-pocket over a high-collared black shirt, pants and shoes. In an old photo of his youth, he was depicted with fluffy hair, a shorter nose (though still long by his age standards), and wore a cap backwards. As a proud member of Kumogakure, Kaku wears the standard Kumo uniform (the same one worn by C in the series) for offical missions otherwise he wears his usual attire which consists of black skinny jeans (elastic), white t-shirt, fashionable yellow shirt, ninja-grade hightops, and a fashionable hat depending on the occasion. Kaku also carries his trusty sword cw on his back as well as an additional normal Katana.
Personality: Kaku tends to be shy and realistic. He is a quick thinker and very observant. He is the embodiment of pure modesty. He can't bear to be taken care of but rather prefers to take care of others. He has keen, good intellects, and is very discriminating about those with whom he associates with. Handles business matters with good judgment and is not easily imposed upon or deceived. Kaku is also usually materialistic in his view of life, analyzing & reasoning everything from his own way of thinking outwards. He is and attracted to only that knowledge that can be applied usefully. He will happily share his information with anyone, if he confirms their own usefulness in the world, and brings them eagerly out of their shells. Kaku can become a good literary critic, being quick to see the weak points. He is extremely fond of harmony in his surroundings, having excellent taste about his house and attire. Kaku always wants things that are in good taste, and elegant. Finally, Kaku is usually fastidious about his personal appearance. Has a great respect for rank and position and is a great supporter of the law and the law's decisions. He usually develops this skill to improve himself and his surroundings as he places great pride in tangible achievements. People like Kaku spend part of their lives heading off on detours and then suddenly emerging as someone with a remarkable sense of direction. He can adjust easily to change once he finds a way of fitting the new situation into his routine. Using his observational analysis over the years has allowed Kaku to predict most human behaviors related to emotions like when someone is angry they become reckless, hesitant when worried or scared, or protective when one shares a bond with people or objects. While he is no genius he is able to remember important information and use it later to his advantage, displaying his competency in gathering resources.

Background Information
Kaku was born into the world a war orphan. Not knowing much about his parents, Kaku instead created an image in his mind of who they were going as far as creating an elaborate story about them and their final moments. Growing up in several homes throughout the Land of Lightning, Kaku learned various skills and tricks to help him survive the harsh environment at the time. Having lived such a harsh early life, Kaku grew up with a lone wolf mentality not trusting many, if at all. Innately, Kaku had a unquenchable thirst for knowledge which allowed him to attain many useful skills and behavior recognition, using them to his advantage both in and out of battle. However one thing Kaku lacked was the sense of belonging. Because he wasn't very trusting of others, Kaku pushed others away eventually leading him to become reclusive. The harsh conditions of the time led him to travel to Konoha and make a living. He did quite well for himself eventually garnering the attention of the famous Kakashi Hatake. Though both still young, Kaku and Kakashi got along quite well. In fact, in many aspects they were identical in regards to personality and mannerisms. Eventually Kakashi offered to train Kaku to which he happily agreed.
As time went by, Kaku flourished into a bright and capable fighter excelling in various subjects such as Kenjutsu, Lightning Releases, and Water Release. However Kakashi felt there was something more to his friend and recommended he speak with his mentor, who went by the code name "Dan". After an enlightening meeting with "Dan" he came to discover he had been the son of Fenwe Ñoldor, a renowned elf ninja. "Dan" offered to train the youngling and share the secrets of his clan. After traveling back to his homeland, Kaku joined the force of Kumo shinobi and continues training in hopes of one day becoming an elder in the Ñoldor Clan. Supposedly you need a beard for that so he is working on that too.

Kaku is a highly skilled and capable shinobi, having been chosen as one of his clans advisors. He excells in various skill sets though mostly pertaining to his clans abilities, Kenjutsu, Raiton, Suiton, and Taijutsu. All is due to his expert training by various legendary sensei's and sepais such as Noni, Negative Knight, The Pervy Sage, Anbu Junior, Zaphkiel, Lonely Assassin, Nakiri, and Loki.

Description: Yamato is a silver katana with a long and slightly curved blade with both the grip and scabbard being predominantly black. The blade features several intricate ornaments, most notable is a relief of a dragon at the endpoint of the hilt. The scabbard is black, made of traditional lacquered wood, and features several metallic ornaments on its far end. Being one of the legendary swords of the old world, Yamato is truly impressive in its design. The durable, chakra-conductive metal is able to extend to a greater length while maintaining its strength and lightweight once per battle, lasting for three turns. With a greater length, the user is able to perform techniques with his sword at a greater distance (up to mid-range) and damage (+10 to Damage/ +1 rank) however it requires him to hold steady with both hands and use a much larger amount of chakra (+10 to chakra cost). While this limits him to only sword-related techniques, it greatly increases his swordsmanship when used correctly. The chakra-conductive metal is only responsive to its wielder's chakra, being unable to be used by others and resulting in spikes to protrude from it (similar to how samaheda does when not in the hands of its owner). The weilder must remember that while maintaining this ability, it will continue to cost him one move per turn limiting him to two moves per turn.
