Wouldn't it be like a match of stamina? Because Kakuzu would try his tentacle thing but get sharingan raped, but if Itachi does anything to Kakuzu he would just stitch himself together, right? Apart from taijutsu experts like Lee and Gai, it would be hard to judge...

I think it'll be a tight one but I'm gonna go for Kakuza:
-He's pretty fast. (intercept Kakashi when he was attacking Hidan with his Lightning Cutter.)
-He can harden his body, so I think Itachi won't be able to cause him damage.
-He can detach his arms this may be able to override Itachi sharigan in a simlar way to the kurama chakra cloak as its unpredictable.
-Plus he's quite strong (caught one of Chōji's enlarged punches with a single hand and punch down an iron gate)
-Vast amount of experience due to living so long.
-Finally I can't see Itachi destroying 5 of Kakuzu hearts with taijutsu.

Well this isn't really a fair set up, because all of you are saying "Oh Itachi has to take out 5 hearts and Kakuzu has iron skin"

Well if you actually think about it, his iron skin is what? A JUTSU.

His threads that hold his body together is a jutsu as well.

So if you want to be technical about it, Kakuzu still loses. If you restrict only Itachi to taijutsu then yeah Kakuzu wins.

Dafuq. Im not sure why people are saying iron skin or mentioning his hearts.
Op said taijutsu. Iron skin is ninjutsu. His other hearts use ninjutsu therefore why people keep mentioning this ive no idea.

Anyway the clear cut winner here is itachi.
He has already blitz 3 sharigan users in the konoha police force and defeated them with taijutsu at 12.

Now everything else is in favour of a clear cut win.
Itachi has the taijutsu advantage this is backed by the databook.
Kakuzu has a 4, itachi has a 4.5

Speed also comes into a taijutsu fight and again has the advantage.
Kakuzu's speed is 4, whilst itachi's is a 5.

Handspeed also comes in quesion because taijutsu is basically hand to hand combat therefore somebody with faster handspeed has the advantage. Itachi has demonstrated the fastest hadnseepd movement in the series and has a 5. Kakuzu has a 3.5.

All this alone should tell you that there is a clear winner. Now if you add the sharigan into this, it makes this already clear cut fight, even clearer because itachi's reflexes increases a considerable amount and with that would overwhelm kakuzu is a taijutsu fight
