In the time period of the final chapter and the start of Naruto: The Last, I hope that Kakashi undergoes some sort of rigorous training in order to make up for no longer having Sharingan. If he is to become the 6th Hokage, he better freakin' be able to strike fear into potential threats to Konoha. Kakashi and Naruto should be enough to make outsiders tremble at the thought of even insulting the Leaf Village.
How would you like your favorite living character to spend his/her time in this period?

the only person who has this now is Sasuke. Can't compare Kakashi to god teir people because the only 2 god teir left are Naruto and Sasuke.

OT: I'd like to see Kakashi go to Kumo and train with the ligthning masters to master and learn some new OP Lightning techs like Raiton Armor maybe even the black lightning. That might help.

EDIT: Also this bad rap Kakashi is getting about being weak because his Sharingan is gone. Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe a large portion of Kakashi's chakra was tied into maintaing that Sharingan? He couldn't exactly turn it off and it was draining because he was not of Uchiha Blood.

He may be quite powerful without the Sharingan. Just sayin

Hokage usually don't go into combat unless it's a domestic issue or a really dire situation. Also, it might take Kakashi some time to adjust his fighting style after all these years, but don't forget that he's still the White Fang's son, knows over 1000 jutsu, made Jonin when he was still a child, and will have massively larger chakra reserves. If we ever do get to see Kakashi fight again, I'll be looking forward to it. No more Raikiri and Kamui spams.

I would like Kakashi to learn a special summoning jutsu that allows Naruto and Sasuke to be summoned like weapons. He should first go to the sand village to learn the art of puppetry. With his puppet strings he should be allowed to control Sasuke and Naruto. If this happens he would not need a sharingan eye anymore. Making him the most Op puppet user ever lived.

Honestly speaking, I hope Naruto and Sasuke regress in power so that others can be of some use. Kakashi should become even more versatile than he already is IMO.
