Only Obito's eyes can do phasing and it's not like kakashi can teleport himself willingly all the time. It takes twice as much effort as Obito's eyes and is half as good.

Doesn't mean he can't master teleporting individual body parts. It just means it'll be a lot harder for him.

i actually doubt he'll ever do the phasing thing,because it's the right eye's ability.
you see these two eyes might both have kamui,yet each one has its properties,the left one(kakashi's) creates a dimentional hole that spawn directly on target(the target can be kakashi himself),while the right one is a manipulation of that ability on close range,just like sasuke's eyes,left eye spawns black flames,right eye creates black flames and controls it.

Kinda like giving 2 keys, 1 to the house owner and the other too a stranger.
you see, its the house owners key so he knows how and where to use it.
the stranger knows its a key for a door but doesnt know where to use it.

It was never explained that way, but it's the only way that makes sense, even by the logical standards of this manga.

That wouldn't work. If it were a void, he wouldn't exist in either dimension but the manga has already stated that his body parts are moved to the other dimension.

It's not phasing but simply transferring parts of his body to the Kamui dimension, they are merely existing in the other dimension whilst the Mangekyou leaves a projection of the user in the contrasting dimension.

Remember the Uchiha are heavily associated with mirrors (Mangekyou - Kaleidoscope etc), and mirrors produce reflections, which is what a projection is.

Kakashi's ability isn't the same as Obito's. Obito's body can teleport freely, which is what allows him to phase. However, Kakashi has to focus Kamui on a body part and drag his entire body into the Kamui, which is why he requires so much chakra to teleport. If Kakashi tried to teleport only a body part, he'd sever that part from the rest of his body.

Also, Obito doesn't actually teleport body parts into the other dimension per se, he bends space-time around himself to create a "void" that let's his body physically occupy the Kamui dimension while still being visible in the normal dimension, creating intagibility.

No, man. Kakashi already explained that. It's not intangibility. He teleports the body part that is being attacked.

The last part of your post makes no sense too, he doesn't leave any after image. As you have noticed, it's just the body part that is being attacked that is inside Kamui (remember when Kakshi punched him in the guts)
