You ask this because Kakashi has suddenly shown an improved abillity to use his mongekyo abillity kamui. Obito stated continualy that together he and Kakashi could bring out the full potential of the sharingan, so it is very possible that Kishi might reveal a connection between them just like you described. Personally I hope that is not the case but that's probably because I'm a Kakashi fan, and want to believe he is naturally getting stronger on his own. You'll likely take a lot of heat from Kakashi fans because of this.
