Kakashi's speech was bad. Also piss off Minato.

Maybe Kakashi is just mad at Obito, think about it. Kakashi started out like Neji and Sasuke when young with a stick up His like they were,after Obito so call death He began acting like Obito,late to places and easy going. Only to find out Obito is alive and was the cause for Minato and Kushina early death by releasing Kurama and Naruto being an Orphan that has hated by many people growing up alone,hungry and sad. If a friend of your's had cause all that trouble,would you not be Mad too?

I wouldn't say mad, more like dissapointed. But nonetheless, Kakashi blames himself as well and still bears feelings towards Obito.

I'm not one for complaining about events in the story, i've loved the last 10 or so chapters but want to see if it's just me who thinks this?

Kishi for some reason decided to end the Obito story with Kakashi and Minato, something I find really quite unnecessary and something that's already been done months back. Minato thinks it's his fault? He has literally no reason. Minato did not cause this, he's as much to blame as Tenten is, that's why i'm annoyed that Kishi is trying to shoehorn Kakashi and Minato as part of Obito's story at the end of it all. He should've killed Kakashi back during the Kamui dimension fight, been defeated by Naruto and murdered by Sasuke.

This chapter was an awkward and unnecessary addition to the Obito story that just repeated (and lessened the impact?) the words of other chapters. Kakashi's speech about Naruto actually felt pretty lacklustre and like he still has a long way to go when every other chapter has been singing his praises. Naruto clearly isn't going to lose his way so why ever mention that Kishi? Naruto won't lose his path because Kakashi could help him up? Sasuke had people around him and he still turned into an S-Rank criminal, Kakashi couldn't help a part 1 Sasuke genin so whatevers making him think he can help a 2nd coming of messiah perfect jinchuuriki is nonsense.

Minato sucks a a character but isn't to blame for Obito. Nobody is? Idk get this surely its 100% Madara/the world they live in, there's no need to stick it to a character Kishi.

I'll be frank. I quite agree, this chapter was not what I expected, and a lot of things were apparently unnecessary. Now, as you are not one for complaining about events in the story, Kishimoto is not one for doing things recklessly without a good reason. You should start re-analyzing the chapter, since from chapters like this Kishimoto tends to foreshadow important events.

For example, Naruto vs. Sasuke. This chapter revealed that there is an unresolved conflict that must reach an end once and for all (I thought this fight was cancelled when Sasuke joined the army, but it seems Kishimoto did not plan to cancel that fight after all).

I totally agree, I personally believe Kakashi would be a much better remembered character if he had died saying that speech in the Kamui dimension.

And nah i'm pretty noisy and blatant about my Minato hate, the guy sucks. And yes that's fair, if it actually equates to something then I won't mind but I don't see it really adding up to much, seems like an awkward way to do things and if Kishimoto ruins my second favourite character after giving him such a beautiful defeat then I will never forgive him. I've already had my #1 favourite defeated and humiliated (Kabuto) and if he does it again he can go do one.

I agree completely. Both Minato and Kakashi were forcing themselves into the spotlight for no reason and were expressing how sorry they felt for themselves. Bringing Naruto into the conversation isn't even relevant imo, where we are talking about a friendship that was established long before Naruto was born.

The only thing I liked about this chapter was how we were reminded how many people Kakashi lost by a very young age. We knew very early in the story that everyone Kakashi ever loved died before the series started. This is a good way to strengthen Kakashi's character over someone like Obito and provides more evidence that Kish had a method to his madness all along.

Gotta say I felt it was a weak chapter for many reasons, but just that one line from Kakashi partially redeems it for me.
