Is it possible that Kakashi could have the EMS? At this point I am leaning towards a no. My curiosity stems from the methods of attaining the MS. Either kill your best friend or someone very very close to your heart. The key here is intense guilt. Madara, Izuna and Itachi killed their best friends. Sasuke killed his brother, but ( or Itachi exhausted himself to death ) later realizing that Itachi was following orders from the leaf to kill the Uchiha. This resulted in Sasuke's realization that his hatred and anger for Itachi was misdirected. The guilt from this awakened his MS. Kakashi and Shisui... unknown.

With the EMS we know that you need to transplant the eyes from a sibling like Madara did with Izuna and Sasuke with Itachi. It was also stated that the exchange could only happen between clansmen. Many of the Uchiha tried to obtain the power of MS and failed. I guess I am wondering if it has more to do with blood ties or the level of closeness you share with the one who's eyes you get.

Anyway what does everyone think?

Imo Kakashi does need a power-up sometime soon :3 He's losing his spotlight in the series, and a EMS would be the perfect thing for him to get. Will he? Probably not.

He wont get ems he need someone eye someone close to obito to fuse his ms wit tht person eye to activate ems n as far we knw theres no one..

I never said he'd get EMS, I just said it'd be a great power-up for him to get at this point.

It will be great but he wont get any power up cuz now this war is all bout madara,itachi,sasuke,naruto,bee,kabuto,5 kages, n tobi

This cures my curiosity. I totally forgot that for the EMS you must exchange one pair of MS for another. Since Kakashi never originally had the Sharingan he could never get EMS. + rep to this guy for pointing out what should have been obvious to me.
