Kakashi's raikiri Vs rasengan

Kakashi can perform both chidori and rasengan. But using few chidori's will run him out of chakra.

Jiraiya says he knows powerful jutsu than chidori to lure naruto for research trip of finding tsunade.

So, why doesnt kakashi use rasengan instead of his less number of times usable chidori?!!

My guess is rakiri uses less chakra then chidori, rasengan may not be kakashi's style and prefers his lightning based attack.

Rasengan takes a lot of chakra as well, I think Naruto just hides that with his superior chakra pool. Plus, Kakashi has lightning affinity and Raikiri is the jutsu he invented so perhaps it is better for him to use than Rasengan.

raikiri is s rank and rassengan,chidori,odama rassengan are A rank.so raikiri>rassengan,chidori,odama rassengan.

Well, Chidori is his jutsu so I think it would be more suitable for him to use something he created.

chidori and rassengan are kinda same strenght(see all naruto vs sasuke clashes) raikiri is an advanced chidori so its stronger..besides they both have different functions...raikiri(or chidori) is more of a penetrating and piercing technique while the rasengan is more devastating...therefor raikiri is better for assasinations since you can one shot some1 while with the rasengan you only hurt some1 badly

Jiraiya said that just to entice naruto to come along with him. However raikaige is obviously the stronger than rasnegan. Id also like to say that although both chidori and rasengan are A rank technique chidori is the better technique.

Rasengan is the epitome of chakra manipulation and thats about it. Chidori is a combination of chakra manipulation and nature maniuplation and that is the advantage it has over rasnegan.

Id put it simple. Chidori or raikri would get pass kakuzu doton domu. However ransegan would have little to no effect on this technique

raikiri and chidori are atacks where you hit a specific point - this is very effective when you have the sharingan.
rasengan transfers huge amount of energy into the body, literaly destroying you, so you don't have to hit a specific point, which is a good thing for someone like naruto...

the difference is shown very well when naruto and sasuke both hit a water tank

lightning blade is 2x stronger than chidori so yeah it should be stronger
