Kakashi's power up

while reading previous chapters of manga iv'e seen some people getting power ups
then i read the chapter where gai and kakashi save naruto

Then i thought how is Kakashi going to keep up or compare with 8 gates and naruto

The answer was rasengan
Remember how kakashi created the chidori because he couldn't add raition to the rasengan

What if his power up was he figured out a way to combine the two
Just my thought what do ou think

Nah as the others said, he told Naruto he tried and failed so he developed Raikri (misspelt?), plus to control it w/o damage to himself like Naruto did with Rasenshuriken he would need far more chakra.

I don't think it's an issue of chakra control. Imbuing rasengan with a chakra element makes it a double edged sword that I don't think Kakashi is equipped to deal with.
