Alright, I'm new here, so I want my first thread to be about something relevant to the current state of the manga
Ok
Kakashis Mangeyko was unlocked during the time skip, seeing as he had it during the second bell test with Sakura and naruto. It should be common knowledge by now, just like the traditional Uchiha method of awakening the MS( killing the closest person to you/best friend). It is also known that Rin died during the time skip, even though we haven't seen how yet. Now, I have seen some say that her death alone was suitable for awakening the MS, just due to the emotional trauma. But I think Kakashi might have had his hand in it more actively.
Not that he killed her himself, but that maybe he orchestrated a situation in which she would die
More likely she was wounded severely and he didn't do anything about it.
That last theory appears to be supported by Obitos statement saying that Kakashi let rin die.
Now, maybe Obito was just being melodramatic, just because he absolutely loved her and felt Kakashi could have done more, but is just like to throw out a question.
What if Kakashi had found out about the MS and its Secret to unlocking it?
That would have given him a motive for unlocking it with rind sacrifice.
Now don't get me wrong, Kakashi is in my top 5 faves, but what if just for this one thing he wasn't the noble hero?
In any case, I'm sure the manga 604 will address this in part. 603 already shows the origin of Obitos spiral mask ^_^!!![
