idk if this has already been brought up (forgive my newbiness 
) but i wonder if kakashi has read the uchiha tablet. I know the tablet is sacred and therefore kept secret, so I'm not sure if he's even aware of its existence--in which case, that would be even sicker if he did read it. Although, if he did, I'm sure he would be much more aware of the history of the uchiha, and possibly the intent of tobi (who know's if this applies) and would definitely share that with the higher ups in konoha.
but anyway, im just super curious how he came to train himself to gain the mangekyou.... super effin curious... especially since it's been historically known and only possible through an exchange of eyes blah blah, and madara/izuna were the first to gain them ever.
WHICH leads me to believe that the only way kakashi DID obtain it, was through an examination of itachi's mangekyou when he tsukiyomi'ed him. Otherwise, how else? ALTHOUGH, funnily enough kakashi WAS aware of the existence of the mangekyou during that fight and that's why he was able to warn kurenai/asuma to close their eyes, and so on.
However, with madara somehow gaining the rinnegan, this does leave the door open for pure self training towards further maturing the sharingan, which also includes 3-tomoe sharingan into MS as kakashi acheived. Leading me to wonder if kakashi could get..... RINNEGAN?!?!?!?! that would be dope. although one technique would land him in the hospital for years lol.
But then that thought makes me wonder.... why didn't tobi simply mature his own eyes into rinnegan, instead of waiting for nagato's? Unless he wanted the rinnegan to be in someone else's possession, so as to revive him if he ever died--which was mentioned as tobi was upset that nagato used the revival technique on konoha. Interesting interesting...
