Kakashi's Kamui and Tobi's S/T ninjutsu being connected doesn't make sense!

In the new manga it showed that whatever Kakashi warps, ends up in Tobi's dimension, and if Tobi is tangible, any jutsu warped in there will hurt him.

However, if u think back on the show, this wouldn't make any sense seeing as how Kakashi has warped many techniques, and yet they haven't had any visible effect on Tobi. Kakashi has warped Deidara's arms, an explosion from Hiruko, rockets and nails from Pain, Susanoo arrows from Sasuke, and many other things during this show. In theory, Tobi would've then been bitch-smacked by Deidara, blown up on many occasions, been stabbed, and shot with Susanoo arrows, and yet he's perfectly fine. I doubt Tobi is intangible 24/7 so why haven't all these other attacks hurt him at all?

Idk if im missing something here but it just doesn't make sense to me. If anybody has had a naruto epiphane and figured this out, please tell me, ill give u +rep.

During those times when those things were warped, he wasn't in the dimension.

Whenever tobi is intangible these things can hurt him. If he was not intangible at these times he would be unharmed. Tobi would only be intangible in battle and on these occasions he was not.

Kakashi dematerialize the rasengan and materialized it. Once, Naruto passed through Tobi.

Tobi needs to be in the dimension also for it to hurt him

I must admit...this is really confusing. I'm not sure why that happened in these chapters but it seems as though their dimensions are somewhat connected. However, those times that Kakashi warped those things Tobi probably had no need to dematerialize and enter that dimension and therefore did not get hurt. Also......it could be that as Naruto's rasengan was in close proximity to him as Kakashi teleported it it hit him as their dimensions are connected

If Tobi goes intangible then he is "in" the other dimension.. When he warps back he takes whatever is in that dimension with him because kamui doesn't effect Tobi it is clear that the two have a correlation with another. Maybe when used at the same time, Tobi can't stop it.

.. On a side note this makes the whole Tobi is obito that much more plausible.. Though I think it's his dad.

I've re-read the last couple manga and now i actually agree with you, this seems to be the best theory to me. +rep

it makes perfect sense and if u noticed deidara had his arm back when he faced sasuke and the difference with these attacks is tht Kakashi is using the same type of tech Tobi is ... mayb when he absorbs things it kind of flames out but these attacks r going directly to his dimension ... either way we will find out next time we c them because im sure tobi is going to start talking

When tobi is intangible whatever is in the dimension via kamui can affect tobi. Tobi was solid during the times you talk about. None of his mass was in the other dimension so he was not affected.

if you're talking about hiruko as in the movie, then that doesn't tie in with the original storyline idt. Im pretty sure anyways.
