Kakashi's Jonin promotion gifts?

Remember in Kakashi Gaiden when Kakashi received those gifts for being promoted to Jonin level?

Is it a possibility that they will come into play later on? It would just seem random to me how they would mention them in chapter 599 just for the sake of it when it was in fact Obito's flashback.

He's already using one of the gifts (Obito's eye of course) but I think that he will also use Minato's kunai later on. Maybe in a situation where Minato will use FTG to protect Kakashi from Obito's attack or maybe even the other way around.

Who knows, at this moment in the time, he could even be using Rin's medical kit to heal himself before returning to the battlefield.

Off Topic: A top-secret project to give him a gift with the combined efforts of Obito, Rin, Gai, Kurenai, Aoba and Minato and all they came up with was a medical kit and a Kunai? Must have been some sh**** project.

Pics aren't working and I doubt they'll have any relevance now, that was probably just to show how close the classmates were with each other and how Obito might have felt jealous of Kakashi then, especially since he thought he was getting a shot at Rin at that moment. I doubt Kakashi still has that kunai on him now but it would be awesome to see Minato save Kakashi like that at some point.

Pics dont work and I doubt it. The only gift he still has is Obito's eye. The kunai he threw and I think Minato retrieved it back. Rin's health package he used to fix his eye after it got slashed out.
