honestly this all comes down to how "intelligence" is defined!
if you define intelligence as one's analytical capabilies Shikamaru is the most "intelligent." he's always been dubbed by everyone as "a genius" with an IQ of 200+ and Sakura and Tsunade have claimed that he's probably the smartest man in the Land of Fire.

if you define intelligence as battle skill and general knowlege, there are a handful of major contenders alongside Kakashi like Orochimaru/ Itachi/ Kage's. All of which are brilliant in their own respective manner.

I think in general we define intelligence by a combination of the two said types above and generally put Itachi and Kakashi in the highest tier.

You guys catch my drift? I think what I'm saying is pretty spot on..

Tobi admitted that Itachi would have killed him if he didn't keep a few secrets from him. And Itachi would find Tobi's weakness ALOT faster than Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi together lolz.

which is explain my point. If you think tobi didn't share secret with his own group it sound like he just shared secret with everybody else. Plain and simple itachi plans failed. His attempt to keep sasuke away from tobi failed. His plan to kill tobi failed. Kakashi is doing a much better job with less knowledge and preparation.

sakura figured out what tobi does the first time they fought i know kakashi was present then. A while later you fight him again, how the hell cant you figure out his jutsu.

You have space time , he has spacetime. You one shot tech was stopped easily by him after the danzo v sasuke arc. Cant you see his moves were related to yours somehow.

I dont want to seem like a fanboy but if itachi has seen someone fight it would be damn near impossible to defeat him, even shikamaru would avoid getting beat. Look up hidan v team asuma

The only reason he was able to break free from that edo was because of another uchiha ability's .. You say "itachi is nothing but a pure genius" explain ? Itachi is who he is because of his sharingan... Everything else that he has done doesn't make him much of a genius.

What has he done, He planed a life for sasuke by making him seek revenge after being ordered to kill his clan? he was able to stop kabuto because of his sharingan. Itachi was known as a genius because of his power from the sharingan.. That's why it's said " there born as a genius ". True the sharingan is part of him but what has he done that is that special in order of intelligence ? The end of it is he couldn't stop tobi and failed with sasuke as he already said himself!

If itachi had figured this outt he would have taken narito to the other dimension whereas might guy and bee could have attacked mim here so when he moves to the other dimension naruto can attack him there
