kakashi's intelligence=itachi intelligence

Kakashi is hella smart to have figured out Tobi's ability, but its also because he had the opportunity to do so. Dont compared this feat to Itachi's because you cant simply bash Itachi by saying he hasnt done such thing.

They are currently 4vs 1 against Tobi so Kakashi doesnt have his hands full. And guess what, i dont want to put more oil on the fire but Kakashi and Tobi's ability are likely the same as it seems pretty obvious that Kamui and Tobi's ability are sharing the very same dimension. No one other than the holder of Obito's sharingan could have pulled such as move. But yes Kakashi had the potential to figure it out and he didnt dissapoint.

LOL that's the whole point why Itachi is smarter than Kakashi, HE DOESN't HAVE HIS HANDS FULL because there are 3 other people fighting against Tobi and yet took Kakashi ages to find a way to just SCRATCH Tobi. Itachi on the other hand would have found a way to KILL Tobi alot earlier, Hell it was Itachi who found the Rinnegan's blindspot lolz.

Itachi has been shown to be analytical and perceptive, being able to deduce the inner workings and weaknesses of powerful techniques, even while under pressure.

Itachi is smarter than Kakashi its actually a simple statement to graspU_U Minato the genius of his generation, Itachi the genius of his and now Shika the genius of this gen. Itachi master Sharingan at a young age. He succeeded in stopping a war in Konoha. He succeeded in stopping Nagato, he succeeded in stopping all edo/Kabuto (except Madara). He only deems himself as a failure for what has become of Sasuke. Nevertheless as far as Oro said Sasuke been manipulated by Itachi and is far different from when him (Oro) and Tobi used him. So, Itachi still has the chance to succeed actually depending on Sasuke future steps.

I don't think you understand that part. obviously itachi didn't plan it, first when he implanted that crow to naruto its clear that he had no idea that he will be resurrected as an edo. second if you go back and reread manga, itachi said that it was intended for sasuke.

Itachi was able to activate Amu on Tobi when Tobi activated his sharingan, I'm sure he could have activate Koto on Sasuke sharingan, but instead did it on his own. I can only assume that he believe the Naruto he saw before he died wouldn't match Sasuke if he had awaken EMS hence why he set it for his eye, but when he found out Naruto had Karuma under his control Itachi was shocked and believe in Naruto challenging/winning VS EMS Sasuke.

Koto was in his possession and he embedded the code and give it to Naruto. It was used and saved Naruto/Bee. Its a win/win situation at the end. Itachi said some wise words to Naruto and now he has what it takes to stop Sasuke. Edo Itachi has changed Sasuke views a little and stops Kabuto along with most edos.

its funny you guys talk about lucky itachi was but check this....kakashi never planned to send that kunai to hit tobi. he never figured out tobi used same dimension as him. luckily that kunai and tobi ended up at the dimension at the same time. and her still wasn't sure that why he said i wanna try something. he only did the obvious. i remember thinking back when Naruto and sasuke were fighting y did the kamui not work on tobi when kakashi did it on him, yet kakashi never wondered

Itachi was said to be the greatest student the academy had ever known since it's foundation, this alone should say a lot.




Also being an anbu captain at 13 years old should speak volume of his intellectual abilities as well as offensive power. I dont think it was implied that Itachi was leading Kakashi, as i believe Kakashi was a captain himself, but the difference lies in what Kakashi pointed out ;

The fact that Itachi was captain at 13 years old. Anbus are ur highest ranked ninjas tied with Jounins (Shikaku, Kakashi, Asuma). Itachi was leading these guys when he was still a child, leading people is not about offensive power, it's about leading a team. As shown with Shikamaru, it didnt matter if he was strong or not, he was assigned leader because he had the brain to do so. Itachi was leading the greatest out there and given Kakashi's reaction, i doubt he himself was a captain at such a young age. It had to be a hell of a feat to pull someting like this.

Itachi, Minato, Shikaku, Kakashi and Shikamaru are without a doubt the smartest of the serie, and the gap in their intellectual abilies is extremely small but i still think that the best Kakashi can hope to achieve is to equal Itachi. Itachi is without a doubt the wisest shinobi in Naruto, and because of this im also bound to believe that he is the smartest overall, specially with the praise he was given by the academy as well as the fact that he was captain of the anbu at 13.

And as it was pointed out before, Kakashi had 4.5/5 in Intellect in the first databook which is when he was 26 years olds and experienced. Itachi at 21 was already at 5/5 and there is no telling if that stat had just recently capped.

There both so damn intelligent it's hard to say who wins in that regard but remember it's the sharingan that gives Kakashi such insight into techniques and other peoples movements so if he could deduce how Tobi's tech worked then i have no doubt Itachi could do the same.
