it was obivous that kakashi favoured sasuke over the others when kakashi took sasuke out to train and taught him the chidori and just left naruto to someone else and not taking an interest in his training either... tho it worked out better for naruto:|

Sasuke wasn't Kakashi's favorite per say, but him and sakura saw it much earlier than naruto(sakura saw him when he used the CS for the first time) and that was the darkness that sasuke had. Kakashi took special precaution to try to keep sasuke from leaving the village, but ultimately he failed in this.

Now it is quite possible sasuke is Kakashi favorite student, but I'm going to lean toward what I said above.

Well it is kind of obvious that Sasuke was his favorite student. Why else would Kakashi teach Sasuke Chidori which Kakashi created if he did'nt think Sasuke could learn it?

No he wasn't. And the reason kakashi taught sasuke alone was to satisfy his lust for power and kill that spirit of revenge. He told sasuke what the chidori was meant for(friendship)(sasuke obviously didn't listen). Plus the other reason was so Sasuke wouldn't depend on his curse seal. Kakashi sealed the curse seal that prevented it from taking over as long as Sasuke believed in himself. With the chidori sasuke did believe in himself for a little while but it ended up not being enough.
