Kakashi's disadvantage

When Kakashi formerly faced Zabuza, prior to the war arc, he displayed the sharingan's copying ability in a way that no other user has ever displayed from what has been seen so far (duplication of hand seals). Sasuke was able to duplicate Lee's movements, but not quite as skillful as Kakashi when mimicking Zabuza's movements. It probably wouldn't be as effective now, but I thought that was pretty cool. Do you think that Kakashi is more skillful with the sharingan's copying ability than most, but due to the handicap of him not being an Uchiha, he would never be able to defeat an Uchiha other than Obito at the level of his death?

That's illogical. How could he surpass someone in a field wherein Uchiha blood/The Sharingan is required? Just because another Uchiha hasn't done it doesn't mean only Kakashi can; In fact, that wouldn't make any sense at all. If it were to be a distinct ability then surely an Uchiha would excel in it, rather than someone like Kakashi... so no. xd

Sasuke didn't get it perfect probably cuz it was taijutsu so he's body wasn't used 2 that type of speed n movement plus he only had 2 tomoe sharingan when he faced lee n copy his move n IMO it turned out pretty good

Agreed ...... Before kakashi got obitos sharingan he was already a beast . Jonin at young age . The sharingan just made him that much better and made him famous! He never asked for it . It was given to him. But an uchiha body is built to handle the strain of the sharingan much easier.Plus he only has one sharingan .Sasuke and itachi had two allowing them to use techniques that need two ms eyes.

Why couldnt kakashi copy it ? Im assuming Tobi can perform it or stop it now as well right ? He looked at it with his sharingan. Sasuke did too, i think they all can do it now.

true, but for such a technique it wouldn't seem as easy. but, you're right!

I thought the copying ability was Kakashi's personal ability not based on the Sharigan.
i.e. the Copy Ninja

which would indicate there were no other copy ninjas before him
[kind of like having a perfect memory . . it isn't genetic . . . just random luck some folx got it]

I thought he had to see something to copy it
[which is why I was curious how Sasuke was able to copy Lee when he did not see the fight with Gaara because he was in the infirmary]

Kakashi can copy all techniques that don't require changing 2 chakra natures and manipulating the same chakras at the same time. To be able to that is a kekkei genkai which is invulnerable to the sharingan.

An example is Yamato's wood style. It's Yamato's kekki genkai where he changes and manipulates water and earth simultaneously to create wood. Kakashi can't do that because it's beyond the limits of the sharingan.
