however, what do you think about the timing of Madara's supposedly going to get his eye, his status as the new Juubi Jin, and ......the Kakashi anbu filler

When i heard of the anbu filler, i pretty much thought, yup this is the end of Kakashi, we will get more closure to his all around story, [albeit filler], and then he will most likely die in the manga

what do you think

Certainly a possibility. And this case it would be a HUGE death right up there next to Jiraiya's. This isn't no Neji death were talking here lol.

I want Kakashi to live though and see Naruto become Hokage.

He might die in his fight against Madara trying to protect Obito from getting his Rinnegan stolen, and maybe even protecting Minato from getting the Yin Kurama stolen from his if Madara knows about it. But yeah, Kakashi needs to die until the series end. This would be about the best time for a lot of drama. Close death of Naruto and Sasuke, Obito dying because of getting killed by Madara after taking his eye, Minato dying because of losing his Kurama, Kakashi dying too to protect them...

If that happened and madara took the other rinnegan from obito, it would mean that obito could take Kakashi's sharing an, and Double MS obito is basically unbeatable, with long range and short range instakills, the ability to teleport anywhere he wants, and total untouchability.

Kakashi's death would be monumental, and Kishi signs off a filler regarding Kakashi's past, that begins around the time Madara heads off to get his eye back while Minato and Kakashi guard it
