Kakashi's awakening of the Mangekyo Sharingan! THEORY

Kakashi gained MS with Itachi's help. After waking up in the hospital, Kakashi realized he should have died by Itachi's hand, but he didnt. We all know that everything Itachi does is done for a very specific and important reason, with flawless precision and 99% success rate. Through his Tsukuyomi, Itachi made Kakashi suffer enough mental trauma for him to barely survive the horrific Genjutsu, and when Kakashi awoke, he slowly felt the power awakening in him. Of course it was completely different from the way MS awakens in a pure blood Uchiha, because Kakashi is not an Uchiha, so much so, that even the jutsu was completely different from the original Kamui. Kakashi has mourned the deaths of Obito and Rin since the beginning! How else would he have awakened that eye?

And now for the final asset to my theory, Kakashi knows he should have died, so then why did Itachi leave his job undone? There had to be a reason. Itachi does not half-ass it, his every move has a motive!

That face Itachi makes in that last panel, after his shocked persona, means "it worked"!

possable but i doubt it itachi just wnated to finish kakashi off quick but while not having fully for real left the leaf behind ( still loved it) he didn't wnat to kill kakashi it wasn't even needed to kill him so why would itachi do it? he even delayed his capture of naruto because he didn't want to hand him over to akatsuki

Dude lately your posts are only of bashing people's thread, this was a really enjoyable thread to read and it was a theory if anyone is dumb it's you, i bet 4k of those posts are useless and meaningless to the NB community so why don't you just alt f4 and jump off the nearest window, if you have one in that basement that is...

To OP, this is one of the most original threads i've seen on NB i have respect for you good job man and this might be one of the many possibilities Kakashi got his Mangekyou. Especially that last panel was great good job!

Repped back man! The way I see it, Itachi had to put on a little show, but if you look at the page, there is a noticeable delay between the last panel and his verbal reaction. Whats more convincing is the tone of Itachi's voice in the anime! He says it as if he is bored, If a non-Uchiha manages to awaken MS in a borrowed Sharingan, I would imagine a much more enthusiastic response. But then again, he is Itachi, and not many things in this world surprise him lol!
