well some say that he is the copy ninja with 1000 jutsus but what i know he just copies the person he is fighting with and never uses those jutsus again?
or am i wrong? cuz i have just seen him spam Raikiri

I feel like Kishi's been trolling us with Kakashi lately. Where's the supposed "rampage" he was going to go on earlier? As for the 1,000 jutsu, we've only really seen him use a few pretty general ones. I don't think we're going to get much else out of Kakashi by the end of the series.

It's a rumor about him. When people face him and he uses a jutsu he copied they probably assume how many people he fought and copied their techniques.

well, he's been shown using 25 of those techniques in the manga, which is quite a lot more than most other characters. Hiruzen was said to know over 1,000 genjutsu alone, and all the jutsu in Konoha at one point in time, but I don't think he ever used more than 10. Raikiri and Kamui are his most powerful jutsu, Hiding like a mole and kage/raikiri bunshin are his best strategic techniques, it's natural that he will use them. He has stamina contstaints and as such prefers to conserve it through bunshin and hiding like a mole until he can go in for the kill with raikiri. if he's in a pinch he will use kamui. it's the best use of his stamina, that's all.

Kakashi is obviously very powerful and well respected and is know throught the entire shinobi world as the copy ninja for knowing over a 1000 different jutsus... but then again he might now like 500 crappy jutsus... plus he also made jutsus of his own. i honestly dont know what point im trying to make haha. also just saying he probably knows naruto's sexy jutsu(;

Kakashi can use the techniques that he copies at any time, so long as he remembers how to use them. He has used a number of techniques that he presumably copied before.

Copying is one thing. Question is can he use them correctly? Remember when Sasuke learned Chidori? Didn't Kakashi say even if you copy a jutsu then you still have to master it?
