Holy cow... the description his eye and nose are amazing.. the hair is great as well. I won't comment on the clothing as I can see he wasn't really focused on that. The only thing to note is the the apply on his neck, it's a tad bit too big I think. Besides that, its truly amazing. Its so well drawn it would be neat to see a GFXer turn it into a lineart and then color it in

The level of detail in this is astounding!
Your friend must have an incredibly steady hand. The use of thick and thin lines as well has really lifted the piece.
Damn I'd love to see more from this guy!
