I think since Kakashi lost his Sharingan, this actually helps him. Now he doesn't need to conserve chakra and he will use some white fang chakra jutsu that is above all three Sannins.

His affinity is to lightning which he is boss in (raikiri is world renowned) but he has shown he can match users in their own element like when he fought zabuza

nope never kakashi greatest asset was never the sharingan it was his intellect before he got the sharingan that made him powerful and it was his intellect with the sharingan that made him even more powerful some say since he doesnt have sharingan he cant use rakari those know nothing for one thing he only needs sharingan when he runs with it 2nd even if he couldnt use it he can use rasengan not only that he has ninken and his chakra reserves are not constantly being drained now kakashi was is and will always be on of the most popular charectars even if he was weak because everyone likes his personality

kakashi isnt and never will be fodder simple fact as many people say the sharingan is not draining his chakra anymore. Meaning he will be able to hoarde it and use many of the jutsus hes copied in his life. Also whos to say that when Naruto healed gave kakashi a new eye that it wasnt a better version of normal eye meaning it could actually have faster perception compared to normal eyes, without the effect of the sharingan draining his chakra by mass amounts to use chidori. Also Sakumo Hatake during his lifetime, held fame that was said to overshadow even that of the Sannin. Meaning that maybe now that kakashi isnt affected by the drain of sharingan maybe now he actually can tap into his true power that the sharingan has held back.

Interesting idea, I never thought of that. But he basically loses his Raikiri, unless Kishi performs an asspull allowing him to use Raikiri without the tunnel vision thing.

But hopefully you're right about his untapped potential

Im just thinking outside the box on this one lol for all i know i could be wrong and im not afraid to admit that. But if you think about the real asspulls kishi pulled off so far its not so farfetched that naruto gave kakashi a better faster perception eye to deal with the speed needed to use raikiri.

New eye could leave his chakra pools wide open for many of the 1000 jutsus hes copied
New eye could also be an eye like sharingan without the other abilities maybe just the ability to handle the speed better with no chakra drains.
