Not that I care or anything, but lately I've been thinking for a while that if this Movie is indeed the epilogue of this series, I'm one of few people who thought that Kakashi death would be more symbolic and more befitting if his mask reveal thus Naruto will become the 7th Hokage.
I think this is a good route considering this movie is mostly about NH which has to do with the connection between Ootsutski and Hyuga plot and yet most people arn't really looking forward to especially the romance. ( While in the meantime I'm interested in Hyuga so I'm hype
)
Some people will bring up the argument like when Hiruzen temporary steps down when Minato is the new Hokage which the same things applies to Tsunade, however I think the evidence I've provided is too sufficient for my claim.
Anyway, as some people may or may not notice, Kishimoto did some interview at Jumpfest stating whether he's planning to make Kakashi mask reveal in the manga or the upcoming Movie.
From the look of it, it's most likely going to happen in the Movie since we've reached so far to the point it's not possible when it's going to wrap up in the last remaining 2 chapters.
I can't remember if there were other panels something along the line when Obito said to Kakashi that his time isn't over yet, and asked him not to come over to the other world so quickly. In this panel I think it implies that Kakashi will remain a bit longer until he dies.
Granted, Kishi did stated he had no plan as to how to reveal his mask, but this takes way back in the beginning of 2014. Now it seems that Kishi does have plans for Kakashi mask if my hypothesis is correct regarding the last Movie to be the epilogue, then I find it likely for Kakashi to die.
Just recently, we've received an unofficial Movie spoiler, and one of the report stated that Kakashi mask will reveal. Just as I expected most people would believe to be "Fake"
However since this was posted I think it brings more possibility now because of how legit it is due to amount of info we've received from the movie which was revealed the plot from the article and the trailers.
