Kakashi vs sasori would've been the perfect grudge match

Kakashi ofc. No need to avoid puppets if you can directly attack the pupper user from underground and it's common sense puppet master are weak in close combat. And sharingan can even see chakra flow so Kakashi will directly aim at his weak spot and kill him

What a battle this would have been. I'm pretty certain that this match would have taken Kakashi to his absolute limit and maybe a little beyond espically with the numbers and defenses stacked againgst him. Now I don't wanna seem biased but I have Kakashi in favor of this match. I have my reasons.

I agree with Kakashi not being able to beat Sasori, but I'd take Kakashi over Gaara.
