Kakashi vs Might Guy

I haven't found a thread regarding this match up so I would like to know your opinions. Who would win?

Kakashi vs Might Guy?
The only restriction is Guy cannot use 8th gate.

I know Kakashi has a bigger array of jutsu, but he doesn't have the stamina and I don't see him having a counter for Guy's morning peacock. So I actually would think Guy would win this close battle.

Btw, as a side note, if Guy was feeling suicidal and decided to go to 8th gate. Are there any shinobi's you guys think he couldn't defeat previously, that he might be able to beat now?

i think gai his gates make him too fast for kakashi and his morning peacock is pretty much a one hit kill

Pretty even match up between the top dogg jounin of Konoha, it would be a cool fight in my opinion and I honestly would like to see it some day. A draw is at this moment the best call for a fight like this, because we still haven/t seen EVERYTHING from these 2, besides Kakashi is a genius that's true and has a wide arsenal of skills but Gai has incredible speed,stamina and taijitsu, so it's only fair to credit them both.

This is a good one and tough to say Kakashi I would say is much smarter the gai but doesn't have his stamina. Gai obviously takes him in taijutsu, but Kamui and many of his other jutsu's can be used from fairly far away. Seeing as how for the most part we've always seen Kakashi and gai be on fairly equal ground I think this fight would definetly be down to the straw, and either end in a tie or one on the brink of death. That being said I'm going for Kakashi just cause he's smarter brains over brawn

kakashi and dont say he has low stamina the only people he fights are the akatsuki and everyone would be tired after fighting them regardless of their chakra the fact he can stay alive with sharingan and not be an uchiha means he has great chakra

I agree, long fight, Kakashi would probably lose.

It's not that Kakashi has low chakra reserves, it's just that he lacks Uchiha blood, so the sharingan tires him easily. Even though in this war he fought against 7 swordsmen and still has some power in him to fight against Tobi.
