guys the only hope for kakashi is kamui, and again he can't use it if Gaara has sand bullets and his sand attacking him

I like gaara but comeon kakashi is way more experienced has a wide variety of jutsu and is smarter. Gaara is strong but i dout he could handle kakashi. Kakashi mid-high diff

how does kakashi get to gaara? he can't

Gaara sand caught deidera with his sand and his speed is 4.5, i think kakashi has either that or a 4, so he's not faster then gaara sand

Gaara can turn the whole area into a mini desert, and also can bring sand from the grass under kakashi just like he did kimi and kill him

the only chance he has is kamui, and gaara won't give him a chance to focus on it

I love Kakashi but Gaara takes this. If Gaara was limited to the sand in his gourd then I'd say Kakashi may have a slight chance but this isn't so. If the battle drags out, I doubt Kakashi would be able to avoid all the sand Gaara would gather up over time.

kakashi is praised for his speed, and your forgetting his earth release: mole technique where he closes in for taijutsu by bursting from the ground. remember sasuke vs gaara in chunin exams? i think the battle will go similar to that. but if gaaras in a desert then he overwhelms kakashi.

I'm not sure about Deidaras feats, but Kakashi has 4.5 in speed. Also Deidara got caught only because he underestimated Gaara and broke his guard and it's not the first time that that happened. Even against Naruto, Kakashi said that:

Deidara had the false habit to be too much confident that he break sometimes his guard without knowing. It also happened against Sasuke. That's not about speed, but just being able to be careful. And Kakashi is always calm and careful when he fight, and also don't forget the Sharingan that helps him to see something happen before it even happens. That helps a lot to anticipate actions.

Anyway i see Kakashi winning because he has more experience(i think they are almost equal in intelligence or maybe Kakashi is a little bit more intelligent), he is fast, use clone really wisely and he has a huge array of technics like Suiton jutsu which could be really dangerous for Gaara, doton technics to protect himself, raiton technics like Raikiri or lightning chain which could break thru Gaaras defense easily, etc

may be able to counter Gaara's crushing sand as it softens the earth to allow one dig through, so Kakashi can escape sand this way, go underground, soften the sand around him prevent Gaara from crushing him then come up as close to Gaara as possible and Kamui his face off

Agree with you in theory...but there is no good reason think that it would work on Gaara's chakra infused sand in the same way it works on dead/normal ground.

I say Gaara wins this. Kakashi's only real option to win this fight is Kamui. We've yet to see Kakashi use Kamui when he's constantly dodging attacks. Logic dictates that in order to defeat a kage level enemy kakashi will need to look at what is attacking him and unless he is a chameleon or has rinnegan he can't look at two places at once (Imagine trying to him trying to dodge Sand Hail and Prison Sand Burial at once). Furthermore that picture that says the arrow curved. From Pein's body to Chouji could have been a straight line. and we have no reason to believe Chouji moved in a curved fashion. Therefore there is no reason to say the missile curved. Which invalidates the theory of Kakashi being able to kamui a object moving with a curve (which would still be predictable as opposed to sporadic movement). Yes Kakashi may be able to penetrate Gaara's defense with raikiri, but keeping in mind that sasuke got stuck when he used chidori to penetrate. At the point that Kakashi get's stuck he's screwed. Also Gaara's sand is faster than Amaterasu. My proof? Raikage dodged Amaterasu. Gaara caught Raikage mid-attack. If Gaara's sand is faster than raikage, and raikage is faster than Amaterasu, then Gaara must be fast than Amaterasu. With that being the case he sand would therefore be too fast for the sharingan to keep up with if the sharingan cannot keep up with A. If you wish to use the argument that Kakashi can slow down Gaara's sand with a water attack, I'll grant the validity of this but what can Kakashi do against Prison Sand Burial or Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral (don't say he can't use this technique in a grassy plain because he used it against Kimmimaro is a grassy plain. Kakashi's Water Jutsus aren't on the scale of Gaara's sand jutsus meaning he couldn't counter nor could he affect all the sand. He fire attacks could easily be blocked, and even if Kakashi got close he'd have to get passed Gaara's sand. Kakashi's skill set is a bad match for Gaara. Gaara would have to give Kakashi some reprieve in order for Kakashi to use Kamui. In terms of Kakashi's stamina the fighting days in the war is a moot point. I highly doubt he did so without rest. The 7 swordsman of the mist were defeated in a day off panel. So we don't know how much Kakashi pushed himself, and we don't know how much time he had to rest. He fight with Tobi certainly has lasted very long. So we have no way to gauge his stamina based on off panel action.

It doesn't really matter how soft the sand is when it comes to Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral. Even if the sand is softer the sheer weight of of the sand would crush. It's not the sand hardness but the sand's weight that crushes.

I am amazed to no end to see that most people have voted Kakashi. The only reason people can come up with as to how he would win,Kamui.
