During the only and last fight between those two Kakashi lose to Kakuzu.
But he had to protect kids from team 10, which distracted him and forced put himself on the line of attacks as well.
Let's give Kakashi another chance.
The fight goes under 3 different conditions, though also with some general rules.
General:
Both combatans have intel about each other according to what they had seen, learned or heard in manga on the moment, when naruto originally interfered in the fight.
Location: the same forest.
1st round.
Kakashi is from the 4th war and fight with obito arcs. Has MS, but does't useKamui.
Has way increased stamina, compared to the almost beginning of 2nd part, Kubikiribocho (Zabuza's blade) and probably increased other stats.
2nd round.
I think, it's safe to consider Kakashi novel canon, as it's been claimed by WSJ that this work was made by Kishi's supervision and novels were incuded in official chronology, so let's add to Kakashy from the previous round Purple Lightning(Raiton Shiden), but leave him w/o sharingan, so he is from after victory over kaguya and before becoming hokage period.
Shiden has some meaning here: if Kakashi gets caught by tentacles, he would just make Kakuzu taste and electric blow.
3rd round.
It deserves a dedicated thread, but I summarize my thoughts here.
I still don't know, whether Kakashi can actually use jutsus of 5 elements, as his chakra types were revealed in the last DB, but considering he copied over 1k jutsus (He said it in the battle against 7 swordsmen) and a statement as Konoha's No 1 technician, I assume he really can, though his wondering on Kakuzu's elements number would be quite strange.
So, here is Hokage Kakashi - Kakashi from the 2nd round+large amount unrevealed elemental jutsus from his arsenal+probably some new raiton jutsus developed during being hokage.
